Mindset

The Foundation: Absolute Self-Belief

Most people never win because they’ve never actually believed they could. Not intellectually—at the body level. The kind of certainty that makes massive action inevitable instead of theoretical.

“99% of people’s BIGGEST deficiency is lacking courage in form of risk tolerance / self belief. If they just focused on nothing else but expanding risk tolerance - they’d make it. I threw every dollar I had @ opportunities. Gave 0 fucks if I hit bottom. Why? Self belief.”

Source

Grant operates from a framework where one truth towers above all others: if one man has done it, so can you. This isn’t motivational fluff—it’s his actual operating system. When he was $50k in debt with no income, googling bankruptcy lawyers, he didn’t question whether he could make it back. He knew he would. The only question was how long it would take.

The gap between you and what you want isn’t information. It’s conviction. You already know what to do. You’re just afraid to actually do it.

Courage Is Not What You Think

People mistake courage for the absence of fear. Grant sees it differently: courage is just being more afraid of the other thing.

“What external world will call ‘courage’ is largely just actions taken from different value structure It’s being more afraid of the OTHER thing When I quit my 6-fig sales job in early 20’s - ppl said ‘that takes courage’ The truth is I desperately feared what they wanted (comfy job) & wanted what they feared (freedom, risk, adventure) I feared the trap more than I feared the leap It was easy”

Source

This reframe changes everything. You’re not broken for being afraid. You’re simply afraid of the wrong things. Most people fear rejection, embarrassment, failure. Grant fears mediocrity, being caged, not trying. When you reorganize your fear hierarchy, “hard” decisions become obvious.

What you call a courage problem is actually a values problem. Fix the values and courage becomes automatic.

Rejection Is a Volume Game

Grant took roughly 50,000 sales calls in a 2.5-year period. On his biggest day, he closed 22 deals. At a 20% close rate, that’s 40,000 “no’s.” If he’d taken each one personally, he’d be institutionalized.

“Fear of rejection has always been dumb AF to me ‘What if they say no?!’ Who fucking cares😂😂😂 HOW is this a fear lmfao?”

Source

The math is simple: rejection is baked into the equation. It’s not something you avoid—it’s a required barrier to success. The guy who gets 100 “no’s” isn’t failing. He’s nine steps ahead of the guy who never asked.

You’re not afraid of rejection. You’re afraid of yourself—of how you’ll react internally when someone says no. That’s a you problem, not a them problem. Fix your relationship with yourself and rejection becomes a non-issue.

“Your biggest fear is fucking things up When fucking things up is a pre-requisite to get them right As long as your intentions are pure Be unafraid to fuck it up. Jump head-first into the chaos and figure it the fuck out Your intentions (& God) will show you the way as you go”

Source

The Prison of Pedestalization

You place other people on pedestals, which automatically positions you below them. This kills your power before you even speak.

Grant’s breakthrough came when he realized his heroes were just humans. Not magically gifted. Not fundamentally different. Just men who made different choices.

“Once you continually hold the magnificence & awe of the fact of life @ front of mind You have no option other than to pursue your calling with ZERO reservations FUCK what a human thinks Fear no man Enjoy the ride”

Source

This isn’t arrogance—it’s accuracy. You and they share the same fundamental equipment. The only difference is they decided to use theirs. When you stop seeing others as mystical and start seeing them as human, you unlock permission to play at their level.

Every opinion that stops you is fake. These people don’t have special insight into your life. They’re just louder than your intuition.

Conviction Sells Everything

In sales, Grant learned that conviction trumps technique every time. Not conviction in your product—conviction in your prospect.

“Massively underrated part of sales is ‘hidden language’ of absolute certainty in ur PROSPECT. Prspct gets on phone w/ me unsure of their own powers. Riddled w/ limiting beliefs & self-confidence issues. @ end of call w/ me they feel like superman. Like they can conquer all. 💰”

Source

This works because people can feel certainty. When you genuinely believe someone can change their life, it gives them permission to believe it too. When you project your own doubts onto them, they feel it and collapse.

Most reps fail because they don’t actually believe their prospect can win. They hear “I can’t afford it” and internalize it as truth. Grant hears it and recognizes it for what it is: a courage problem, not a money problem.

“So… If ur prospect is a good fit & u can genuinely & ethically help them achieve their goals which they want SO badly… It is ur absolute duty as a sales person to do EVERYTHING you can to get them over the COURAGE hump. It’s almost NEVER about price. It’s about courage.”

Source

Self-Development Is Subtraction

Grant didn’t become successful by adding things to himself. He became successful by removing what trapped him.

“I have always ‘been’ the same person But modern version of me was trapped under all the bullshit. The insecurities. The beliefs that didn’t align with reality. I had to FREE myself. Self-development isn’t ADDING things It’s about RELEASING traps & letting ur natural self FREE”

Source

You already have charisma. You already have confidence. You already have everything you need. It’s buried under years of programming from people who were afraid of their own power.

The work isn’t becoming someone new. It’s removing the fake rules you downloaded from others. It’s unlearning the lie that you need permission to be yourself.

Beliefs Are Upstream of Everything

Grant operates with extreme clarity on four core beliefs:

“2. IF ONE MAN HAS DONE IT - SO CAN YOU This is a cousin of the first belief. Don’t get autistic here and be like ‘but Michael Jordan went to the league and i’m 5’4 and white!’ Alright Kevin. You NEED to believe that if ONE MAN has done or achieved the thing you WANT. U CAN.”

Source

Your beliefs create your actions. Your actions create your results. Most people are stuck at the belief level, wondering why tactics don’t work. You can’t execute at a high level when your belief system is broken.

If you genuinely believed you could make $10k/month, you’d already be doing different things. The fact that you’re not tells you everything about what you actually believe.

“The average person cannot discern their LEVEL of belief in x thing Do you sort of believe it? Won’t take action Do you believe it but have hesitations? Will take occasional action the stop Do you genuinely fucking believe you can achieve it? Will wake up & attack daily 🤔🤔🤔”

Source

Stand for Something

Insecurity comes from being unprincipled. When you don’t know what you stand for, every opinion shakes you.

“The average joe has severe confidence issues because he is completely unprincipled in his actions & utterly disorganized in his intra-personal value hierarchy Once you STAND for something - and you CLEARLY know what that something is - opinions cannot shake you.”

Source

This is why Grant emphasizes developing your own operating system. Not adopting someone else’s. You need principles you’ve tested, values you’ve chosen, and standards you’ve set for yourself.

When someone attacks you and it doesn’t land, it’s because you know yourself. You’ve already audited that part of yourself. Their opinion is just noise.

“U can only be offended / taken down by a comment u FEAR might be TRUE. Uncertainty of self. This is why it is ESSENTIAL that u KNOW URSELF. The tests required 2 KNOW THYSELF = mandatory requirement 2 not giving a fuckness. Why? Because u… KNOW. Some1 says anything… WRONG”

Source

The Imperfect Action Mandate

Perfectionism is procrastination wearing a disguise. Grant’s entire philosophy centers on massive imperfect action.

“Make 2024 the year of MASSIVE IMPERFECT ACTION The #1 DESTROYER of dreams/goals is being afraid of fucking up along the way News flash: This is inevitable So instead of starting things WORRYING about being wrong (hint: you will be wrong) Go INTO things KNOWING you’ll be wrong.”

Source

This removes all pressure. You’re not trying to be perfect. You’re trying to move forward while fucking up. The only failure is staying stuck.

When you accept that mistakes are inevitable, you can actually start. Most people never do because they’re waiting for a version of themselves that will never arrive.

Intuition Over Logic

Grant trusts his intuition completely—not because it’s mystical, but because it’s a supercomputer using information he can’t articulate.

“I believe intuition is a direct link to the FUTURE of your highest self. Meaning - in a reality with an infinite amount of future realities - I believe your intuition is able to ‘peak behind the curtain’ & guide you in the direction that you need to go by sourcing information that your 3D self does not have access to.”

Source

His entire life has unfolded in ways he never could have predicted, yet he always ends up exactly where he needs to be. Why? Because he has the courage to follow hunches without needing to understand them first.

Most people ignore their intuition because they can’t explain it logically. But logic can only work with information you already have. Intuition has access to everything else.

Your Life Is Now

Grant hammers this relentlessly: stop waiting.

“Your life is NOW WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING WAITING FOR Stop allowing the days to pass you by all because you’re too afraid to do some boring shit while tired”

Source

You’re not in a dress rehearsal. This is it. The opportunities to get rich, meet your person, live fully—they’re all happening now. When you operate from “tomorrow,” you’ve already lost.

Most people sacrifice their actual life (what is real) to an imaginary future that never comes. They die waiting for the perfect moment while the imperfect present slips away.

The Test Yourself Mandate

As a man, you have tests placed into your heart by God. Passing them is non-negotiable if you want self-respect.

“There is a very pure tier of self-confidence you earn as a man only by putting yourself through extremely specific-to-you hard shit - and overcoming it. Both forcing yourself INTO & PASSING your own self-generated tests.”

Source

These tests can’t be prescribed by others. They’re unique to you. But you know what they are. You feel them. The things you know you need to do but are afraid to attempt.

Passing someone else’s test doesn’t give you the confidence you’re looking for. Only your own tests matter. Only your own standards count.

Key Principles

Chapter 02

Self-Improvement

Grant’s approach to self-improvement rejects traditional productivity advice in favor of raw competence, intelligent design, and psychological warfare against your own limitations. This chapter synthesizes his recurring frameworks for actually getting better at life.

The Fundamental Truth: Everything Is a Skill Issue

Grant returns obsessively to one diagnostic: if something isn’t working in your life, you have a skill deficiency. Not a motivation problem. Not a discipline problem. A competence gap.

“If something isn’t working for you, realize it’s literally your fault. Also realize the beauty in that truth is that because it’s your fault, YOU can actually learn all that you need to fix it & get it to work for you.”

Source

This reframe is both brutal and liberating. You’re not broken or lazy—you simply lack specific abilities that can be acquired through deliberate practice. The normie treats failure as evidence of personal inadequacy. The competent person treats failure as a map showing exactly where to improve.

Grant identifies a pattern: people do something once, it doesn’t work perfectly, and they conclude “it failed.” But nothing works the first time. Results come from volume plus iteration. The person who thinks nothing will ever work for them has “his ENERGY & ATTENTION…going towards what doesn’t exist (AKA the subjective, AKA the grandiose plans in his head)” instead of just flicking the basketball forward one centimeter at a time.

“You simply can’t skip over MASSIVE reps. There is no way around it.”

Source

When Grant sold insurance, he took 50,000+ sales calls over three years. People called him “the monotoned salesman” because he spoke in one flat tone. So he practiced. Every call became training for tonality. He discovered the issue wasn’t purely vocal—it was emotional expression, which required unwinding mental blocks he didn’t know existed. But he only learned this by doing the thing thousands of times.

The Social Skills Stack Most People Never Build

Grant believes the highest-leverage skillset for men is social competence: being interesting, talking forever without time limits, and navigating group dynamics without creating friction.

“If you’re a dude who can literally just open/ start a convo & keep a GOOD convo going for 30+ mins with new people You are in a class of your own”

Source

This capability is rarer than millions in the bank. Why? Because most people fundamentally misunderstand what’s happening in conversations. They’re either SIPHONING energy (desperate for validation, lonely, needing a good reaction) or completely oblivious to the emotional transfer occurring.

Grant’s model: you must IMBUE others with higher energy, fueled by genuine need for nothing. If your cup is overflowing, people sense free energy and interact happily. If you’re energetically depleted and trying to extract, people’s preservation instincts kick in.

“Learning a new language emotionally parallels starting a business You have to be okay with continually looking like a fucking retard for a long period of time”

Source

The core blocker isn’t “social anxiety”—it’s believing you’re burdening people. This is a self-esteem issue. Grant trained himself to believe he’s a blessing to any conversation because he brings fun and permission for others to be themselves. Once you genuinely believe you’re adding value, the neediness disappears.

His advice for beginners: you need to “fully own” getting into a conversation. Don’t ask permission with your body language. Give yourself full permission and start talking. They can take it or leave it, but you must commit fully—not tentatively. Most people enter with “is it ok that I’m bothering you?” energy. Winners enter with “I am here with something to say” energy, even if internally uncomfortable.

Writing as the Central Practice

Grant attributes much of his ability to think clearly and communicate powerfully to obsessive writing practice.

“Nothing gets ‘done’ unless you take your own word seriously”

Source

At 18, Grant sucked at writing. He couldn’t articulate himself, couldn’t stick to a point, couldn’t see the structure of his arguments. Nearly a decade later, he can “choose a target” for his message and hit the bullseye every single time. This came from writing massive amounts of copy—learning to place a “flag” (destination) for his writing and then practicing until he could hit it 90%+ of the time.

“How you write is directly intertwined with how you think. These two mechanisms are one in the same”

Source

Writing isn’t just communication practice—it’s thinking practice. The process of forcing unarticulated emotional stews into clear concepts is how you become more intelligent. Most people never develop this skill because they never force themselves to articulate what they can’t yet articulate.

Grant recommends a daily practice: when you experience a new idea or find yourself doing something “random,” force yourself to articulate WHY. He once tipped a DoorDash driver who was 40 minutes late. Why? He asked himself that question and realized he tips based on “purity of soul,” not service quality. This self-interrogation builds both self-awareness and the ability to extract signal from noise.

The Real Fundamentals (Which Nobody Masters)

Grant repeatedly observes that 99% of people look for advanced tactics before mastering basics. During his corporate sales job, not a single other rep spent even one minute trying to improve at sales. Zero used available resources, zero shadowed top performers, zero asked questions. They just stayed mediocre for years.

“99% of people spend 0 time working on the fundamentals of what they are actually doing. There is quite literally 0 comp”

Source

The pattern extends beyond sales. In pickup basketball, Grant can tell someone’s skill level instantly—not by their best plays, but by whether they ever miss fundamental moves. The noob practices until they get it right. The master practices until they can NEVER mess it up, even on their worst day.

For sales specifically, Grant identifies two core skills: never making assumptions, and asking pointed questions. When a prospect says “I don’t have time,” the amateur rebuts. The pro says “When you say no time, what do you mean by that?” and investigates deeper.

“Your COMPETENCE in both sales and dating comes down to your ability to go into situations with 0 preparation and SEEK+DELIVER value on the fly You need no SCRIPT because you have a FRAMEWORK”

Source

Scripts fail. Frameworks win. But frameworks only develop through understanding, which requires massive reps observing patterns. Grant also notes that mastering sales requires developing a “poker voice”—the ability to speak boldly even when nervous, not just maintaining a poker face.

Energy Management Trumps Discipline

Grant’s most contrarian position: discipline is fake. A fantasy word. People achieve things because they’re either having fun or divinely pulled by a vision interwoven with their ego.

“Discipline doesn’t exist. One of the most misconstrued fantasy jargon words ever to be birthed into existence Dudes achieving shit either because it’s fun as fuck or because they are divinely pulled by a vision that’s deeply interwoven into the fabric of their being & ego”

Source

This isn’t semantic wordplay. Grant argues that the entire framing of “discipline” sets people up for failure. The correct model: you can’t do work when your energy sucks due to bad diet/sleep, when you’re confused about next steps, or when you’re uninterested in the task. That’s not a discipline problem—that’s human biology winning every time.

His energy system is deceptively simple but non-negotiable: - No coffee/stimulants/alcohol - Real foods only - 8 hours sleep, consistent schedule - Workout 4x/week - Adequate water

“If you fix your energy everything will basically fix itself. But there’s a ‘two week shit period’ that you have to go through to get to ‘actual energy’.”

Source

During the first 14 days of cutting substances cold turkey, you’ll be tired and hungry. Sleep and eat as needed. After two weeks, your energy reaches levels you didn’t know existed. This is when work becomes dramatically easier—not through willpower, but through biological optimization.

Grant also distinguishes between “work hard” (useless metric) and “get ahead of things” (specific and finite). Vague grinding leads nowhere. Concrete advancement toward defined goals can be measured and stacked.

The Systematization of Emotional Responses

One of Grant’s most underrated insights: the skill of NOT GIVING UP comes from systematizing your emotional responses to specific feelings.

“Most underrated skill to NOT GIVING UP is being able to systemize your emotional responses to certain FEELINGS Eg: when learning new language you often feel overwhelmed & like you’re not making any progress Instead of identifying with feeling and QUITTING like most people do”

Source

When you feel overwhelmed learning something new, that’s not a signal to quit—it’s a predictable, meaningless sensation that can be ignored. Grant learned to recognize this pattern, label it, and continue working regardless. This metacognitive skill—observing your emotional state without being controlled by it—is developed through meditation practice.

His meditation approach is straightforward: sit and count to 10 while visualizing numbers. When your mind drifts (it will), catch it and restart without judgment. Each “catch” is one rep. Aim for 10-20 reps per session. This builds the fundamental awareness needed to later catch and redirect unhelpful thoughts in real-time.

Over time, this practice creates what Grant calls a “forcefield”—automatic rejection of thoughts that shrink you (negativity, blame, victimhood, scarcity). Your default state becomes abundance and power, with brief visits to lower states rather than permanent residence there.

Retardmaxxing and Learning to Let Go

Grant champions “retardmaxxing”—shutting off your analytical mind and just doing the thing with drool on your chin and lazy eyes twitching. This isn’t anti-intellectualism. It’s recognition that overthinking prevents data collection.

“The reason retardmaxxing actually IS correct is because it sidesteps all of the unanswerable questions and allows you to get REAL DATA to make decisions off of (by doing the thing & learning)”

Source

Most people stare into the empty void of their mind, hoping answers will magically appear. But logic requires data points. You get data by sending it into uncertainty BEFORE you feel ready. By retardmaxxing enough times, you eventually develop “geniuswarriormaxxing”—the ability to pair deep strategic thinking with zero hesitation to act.

This connects to Grant’s emphasis on learning to “let go” while pressing the gas. True mastery isn’t white-knuckling through tasks. It’s reaching unconscious competence where fundamentals execute automatically, freeing you to flow and express naturally.

“take a week and literally just plan fucking nothing but send it a bunch on things that if failed would sorta embarrass you”

Source

Build trust in your relationship with the divine. Become better at pulling signal from source when needed. Do this by shutting up internal noise and becoming a receiver of creativity and flow. Go off instinct more. Design impromptu practice sessions where you can’t prepare—just show up and figure it out in real time.

The War Against Your Own Patterns

Grant distinguishes himself from normie self-help by recognizing that growth isn’t linear progress—it’s messy pattern disruption.

“When you’re a young dude, a better question than ‘what do you want to do for the rest of your life’ (which is an absolutely retarded question) is ‘what can get me PAID’”

Source

People torture themselves trying to find their “passion” when they should just pick a lane that clearly pays and get good at it. Serendipity and divine direction steer you home, but only if your car is already flying down the highway. The parasitic idea of “follow your passion” keeps beginners stuck in analysis paralysis.

Grant’s college friend asked how he decides when he’s unsure about something. Grant’s response: he spent years practicing hearing his own internal voice through aggressive meditation. Most people can’t discern their intuition from mental noise because they’ve never developed the skill of internal listening.

“You have to learn the skill of self-feedback. Nobody is going to be honest with you.”

Source

You probably suck more than you think, and no one will tell you because people can’t handle feedback. The solution is brutal self-honesty: try your best, compare results to the standard you want to operate at, judge honestly, then choose to get better. This requires divorcing your self-worth from your current competence level—a rare psychological feat.

Building Real Leverage Through Skill Stacking

Grant’s personal philosophy centers on skill accumulation as the ultimate form of security.

“You should simply have way too many fucking skills / connections to ever STAY broke again Lost it all? Who the fuck cares. Can either tap into your network and immediately provide value or monetize one of your 900 skills 500 different ways If you (L)EARN - the L goes AWAY.”

Source

If you’re broke with no skills, master these three: sales, lead generation, and offer creation. These form the foundation of printing cash. But the deeper principle is that every skill acquired makes you antifragile. You can lose money, lose relationships, lose status—but skills compound permanently.

Grant argues this is why entrepreneurship is the best self-development vehicle: it FORCES adaptation through external pressure. Unlike “airy meditations” that foster “ghost growth,” business makes reality unavoidable. Adapt or die. The pain is real, so the lessons stick.

“There is no better self-development vehicle than business. Business is ACTUAL self-development that you get paid for.”

Source

This connects to his broader observation about learning curves: it’s never as hard as it is at the beginning ever again. Once you’ve acquired leverage (skills, information, money, connections), making 100x more becomes 100x easier. Beginners don’t understand this because they’re swimming upstream with no leverage. The first 0-to-1 is brutally difficult. Every subsequent jump gets easier.

Key Principles

Everything you avoid is a skill issue, not a character defect. Your inability to do something stems from lack of specific competencies, not inherent brokenness. This reframe makes improvement possible.

Massive reps in the right direction beat perfect planning. You need 1,000+ practice attempts, not 10 perfect ones. Volume plus iteration creates competence. Most quit after 50 tries when 3,000 would have worked.

Social skills trump technical skills in long-run ROI. The ability to start conversations, maintain energy, and navigate groups opens more doors than any certification. High-level social competence is rarer than millions.

Writing is thinking made visible. Obsessive writing practice—especially copywriting with clear targets—trains you to transform emotional stew into sharp ideas. This skill compounds across all domains.

Energy management beats willpower every time. Biology wins. Optimize sleep, food, and exercise first. Then design systems around your natural rhythms rather than trying to discipline your way through exhaustion.

Discipline is a fake concept that sets you up for failure. People achieve things through genuine interest or compelling vision, not self-flagellation. If you can’t get yourself to work, you have confusion, low energy, or misalignment—not weak willpower.

Master fundamentals until you can’t miss on your worst day. The noob practices until they get it right once. The master practices until perfection is automatic even while sick and tired. Competency gaps are invisible to beginners, visible to experts.

Systematize your emotional responses to avoid quitting. Feeling overwhelmed is a predictable sensation when learning, not a signal to stop. Build awareness through meditation so you can observe feelings without being controlled by them.

Retardmaxxing breaks analysis paralysis. Shut off your brain and do the embarrassing thing with zero preparation. This generates data. Overthinking while stationary generates nothing. Send it, learn, adjust, repeat.

Skills compound into permanent leverage. Money can be lost. Skills cannot. Stack enough competencies and you become impossible to keep down. This is true wealth—the ability to generate value from zero in multiple ways.

Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship demands a psychological fortitude that most people never develop. The uncertainty alone filters out the majority.

Entrepreneurship is a continual state of uncertainty - ESPECIALLY in the beginning Before I got into the game I was like “oh everyone should start a business” Then I realized how thicc your soul has to be to stomach the lows or sit comfortably through the rollercoasters Few

Source

The barrier isn’t intelligence or connections. It’s simply your willingness to feel like an idiot for six months straight.

The High-Ticket Closing Path

Grant documented his journey from zero to six figures through high-ticket closing in real-time. His first move was targeting coaches, consultants, and service providers with actual offers worth selling.

Mission accomplished. Closed the first call I got on with a guy in ecomm & already have appointments coming in for him. We clicked & he brought me on instantly. His offer is $5k (really good fucking offer) @ 13% commission. Min quota is 20 sales / month

Source

The evolution he describes is clear: random sales job leads to thinking “there’s a better way,” which leads to half-assing a first business, abandoning it for high-ticket work, learning everything about online business, then creating your own offer at scale.

The evolution of the rich closing chad e-millionaire: 1) Random sales job @ 20 2) Thinks “there’s a better way” 3) Half asses first business 4) Abandons biz & ends up in high ticket 5) Learns everything online biz 6) Creates own offer 7) 100k months Ez game.

Source

High-ticket closing teaches you the complete online business stack. Every sales call is an MBA lesson taught by millionaires.

Understand if you’re a high ticket closer you’re literally going to be rich as fuck. It’s a given. It’s already done. Your closing experience gives you (quite literally) an online business MBA that school could NEVER give you - taught by millionaires. Create own offer BAG.

Source

The Three Critical Skills

Making money online collapses to three fundamental abilities.

Here are the top 3 skills to master if you’re broke and have NONE: 1) Sales 2) Lead generation 3) Offer creation Master them all - print cash.

Source

Or expressed differently: product-market fit, traffic generation, and selling. Everything else is distraction.

The only 3 skills you need to leave your 9-5 forever: 1) How to test your way to product market fit 2) How to grow an audience / generate traffic 3) How to sell It simple.

Source

Each of these skills can be learned in roughly 20 hours of focused study. The internet has made expertise accessible.

Starting From Zero

The advice for beginners is brutally direct: do something for someone with money and get them to pay you.

If you’re young and have NOTHING to teach… It is a service-based business. Simply do something for someone with money and get them to pay you. Copy, sales, email marketing, seo, funnel building, web design, email deliverability, content marketing, employee placement, etc. learn SOMETHING.

Source

The first client matters more than anything. Get one testimonial through disgustingly good delivery, even if it means working for free initially.

Grant’s first dollar online came from Upwork. A client wanted five 200-word painting articles for $25. He delivered five 500-1000 word fully SEO’d articles instead. That testimonial carried his entire business forward.

Positively obliterating expectations is how you get testimonials that will carry your business.

Source

The unscalable work is how you build momentum from zero. You customize so specifically to one person’s needs that saying no becomes impossible. Then you repeat that process with slightly more leverage each time.

Sales as Foundation

Sales ability creates asymmetric optionality. If you can sell, you can minimize business risk to absurd degrees by selling first, then building.

Sales = FOUNDATION of business. If you can SELL… You can minimize your business risk to astounding degrees by selling FIRST (without needing to purchase ANY infrastructure until AFTER the close). Can CLOSE DEALS W/ NOTHING. BUT WORDS. $0 Invested.

Source

The sales process itself is straightforward. Ask them what they want, why they want it, what they’ve tried before, why they think your thing will work better. Then pitch them what they just told you they want.

Sales is so laughably easy. 1) Ask dem wat want 2) Ask dem why want dat 3) Ask dem wat try in the past (that failed) 4) Ask dem why think this new ting will be more helpful than old tings (then agree w/ what they say) 5) Literally just pitch them wat they say they want ?????

Source

Most sales training is worthless because it focuses on tactics instead of fundamentals. The real key is knowing what you’re selling better than anyone else.

Have quite literally never thought about frame on a sales call EVER because I’ve actually always been the authority at whatever the fuck i’m selling. This is what so many n00b closers completely miss

Source

When you’re the expert, frame takes care of itself. People defer to the doctor because the doctor has the information.

Understanding Your Market

Product-market fit is the highest leverage skill a business owner can develop.

The “highest paid skill” that you can have as a business owner is becoming a MASTER of product-market fit So many problems faced by business owners are because people don’t actually want their shit Have the vision to sell someone what they WANT to buy and you’ll print

Source

Every customer you acquire is a data point that research cannot touch. Call them. Understand their mind. Ask why they purchased, why they chose you, why competitors turned them off.

Every CUSTOMER you acquire is a data point that market research cannot TOUCH You have a literal example of WHO has just PAID YOU Call them and talk to them. Understand their mind. Ask WHY they purchased. Ask why they went with YOU. Ask why competitors turned them off. INFO

The number one principle when dealing with people: their self-interest. Not your wants, not your product, not your features. Their wants.

The #1 fundamental principle that needs to be kept @ forefront of mind when dealing with anything relating to people is THEIR self interest. So simple yet literally no1 does it lmao. Content? THEIR wants Product? CUSTOMER wants GIRLS? HER wants Biz connect? HIS wants Not hard

The Psychology Game

Deep understanding of psychology makes you a god-level marketer. You can train yourself to feel when messaging hits or misses.

A god-level understanding of psychology makes you a god-level marketer & content creator. Not many people know this but you can actually train yourself to FEEL the psychological relatability of your messaging. Whether it be COPY, CONTENT, ADS, VIDEOS ETC. You can FEEL when the messaging misses. There is no POP. No PIZZAZ. And when it hits? OH FUCK. THAT’S GOOD. You FEEL it.

Source

Enter the conversation already taking place in the customer’s mind. Every word you say generates a verbal reaction in their internal dialogue. Predict those reactions and address them in real time.

The biggest skill is hierarchically weighing value points. On a sales call you get 400 pieces of data. Which 2-3 problems give you the most leverage? In your content, what part of this idea is most valuable to your viewer?

Personal Brand as Vehicle

Building an audience and selling them a high-ticket product based on your skillset or life experience is the lowest-hanging fruit to escape the 9-5.

The personal brand allows you to be multi-faceted. You don’t just talk about your monetization topic. You talk about your life.

Your personal brand is exactly that. A brand that reflects you as a person. and your energetic signature is what does all of the heavy lifting when it comes to monetization.

Grant ran a dating offer while mostly posting mindset content on TikTok. The goodwill from being yourself allows you to sell anything that makes sense for your audience.

The Emotional Gauntlet

Starting from zero sucks more than it ever will again. No leverage, no connections, no knowledge. But every successful person went through it.

It is never as hard as it is in the beginning EVER AGAIN. One thing a lot of new business owners fall into the trap of is simply not understanding that starting from 0 fucking sucks. No leverage, no connections, no knowledge on how to do anything or how to get people results. It’s fucking HARD.

Source

You need runway. Save up enough money to give yourself breathing room to learn. The people who fail quit in the 1-2 year bullshit learning period.

Six months of feeling stupid will make you rich. The only reason people settle for less than they deserve financially is they won’t look like an idiot long enough to see results.

6 months of feeling stupid WILL MAKE YOU RICH. The ONLY reason we settle for less than we deserve financially is because we are simply not willing to look like and feel like an idiot long enough to see results.

Source

Most people severely underestimate the amount of “feeling like an idiot” required to be successful. There is no way around it. Give yourself permission to feel dumb and do what’s required anyway.

Leverage and Freedom

The goal is building leverage so your required work hours decrease while income potential increases. Grant structures his businesses around maximum 10 required hours per week, with freedom to work more when he wants.

Choose any business model & force yourself to schedule out time to work - then do some ACTUAL work. No mental masturbation Force yourself to do 10 min work blocks with a hunger to actually get $1 over the line and you will have $$ coming in 2-3 months.

Source

Financial freedom starts much lower than most think. Get to $2-10k per month online and nobody can tell you shit. You can move to cheaper countries and have complete control over your time.

Freedom is now a game of “how bad do you want it”. An “average” person can learn basic biz skills (marketing + sales) & create content on the internet to be fully self-employed within 6-12 months (assuming they control their expenses).

Source

The average person funds the chains that hold them down. They finance cars to impress people who won’t be at their funeral. Freedom is actually cheaper than what you’re already paying.

Systems Thinking

Business is systems. You need to think in terms of how pieces connect, not isolated components.

Your life gets EASIER if you think in SYSTEMS. Ideas like these come easily and naturally. Must realize everything is interconnected - especially systems that make money. Most of you suck at offers because you are component thinkers which is what is forcing you to copy all of the systems thinkers

Source

A business is an extrapolated sales argument. If there’s no sales argument, nobody is buying. Your conceptual overall argument gets broken into segments: top, middle, and bottom of funnel. Each segment needs its own mini sales argument to push people forward.

The fundamental question loop: Do people want this? Do I have enough traffic to judge? If no, what do they want? If yes, how can I reduce friction?

Delivery and Integrity

Most people focus only on selling and forget the entire point: getting someone into a good product so they tell their friends.

“Let’s not fuck anyone over, deliver the best fucking product on the market, and get disgustingly rich” Yes

Source

Overdelivery creates word-of-mouth flywheels. But you need 30-100 iterations of your product first. Which means you need to get 30-50 clients. Which means you need marketing and sales.

Grant’s stance on info products is clear: most suck because creators focus on launching instead of delivering. There’s no competition because almost nobody genuinely cares about customer results.

The Beginner’s Trap

New entrepreneurs perpetually avoid the poverty work required to get one good testimonial. They want magic without eating shit once.

Many newbs perpetually avoid doing the poverty/brunt/one-sided asymmetrical work required to get just one good testimonial…. forever. They literally won’t eat shit once to set themselves up for life.

Source

Do something incredible for free for someone who actually wants it. Get the testimonial. Use it to stair-step to bigger clients. This is how momentum builds.

The non-scalable work is exactly how you gain momentum from zero. Things that can’t scale because they’re so custom and valuable to the specific person that they have to say yes.

Energy and Performance

Your energy determines your ability to execute. Most people walk around with destroyed dopamine systems and think they have a discipline problem.

Most people are walking around with their energy levels & dopamine systems absolutely shot and think they have a willpower/discipline problem. NO. You have an ENERGY problem which is actually a systems problem in your own life. Raise your energy - raise your life.

Source

Grant discovered tasks he couldn’t do while smoking weed became easy after he quit, dialed in sleep, cut sugar, and worked out harder. The energy explosion made 40-unit tasks feel like nothing.

Learning the Game

Every business model will work if you make it work. The question isn’t “what model should I choose” but “what model aligns with the life I want to design.”

Choose a game and stick to it long enough to get good at playing it.

Source

Grant took 50,000+ sales calls over three years. He was called “the monotoned salesman” at first. He practiced on every call until tonality became second nature. He worked through emotional blocks to express more freely.

The required struggle filters most people out. Before getting into entrepreneurship, Grant told everyone to start a business. After getting in, he realized it’s not for everybody. The struggle is something the average person isn’t prepared for.

Before I got into entrepreneurship game I would tell everyone “START A BUSINESS” “HOW CAN U SETTLE FOR A JOB” Then I got into the game and realized oh F**** This is not for everybody. The required struggle is something the average person is simply not prepared for.

Source

The Financial Architecture

Expenses control your entrepreneurial skill requirement. If you make $100k at a job and have $5-6k monthly fixed expenses, you’ve made six-figure entrepreneurship your minimum bar.

You’ve now made your level of fixed expenses you’ve acquired while employed your entrepreneurial skill requirement. You now at minimum HAVE to become a 6-figure entrepreneur to be free - which is an incredibly difficult skillstack to acquire with a full-time job no matter who you are.

Source

The truth is everyone could obtain freedom if they controlled expenses and allowed enough time to build entrepreneurial skills. But most people would rather flex their picket fence and BMW than be free.

You can live for $500-1000/month in many countries. Freedom is cheaper than what you’re paying now. But egos can’t stomach the perceived step backwards.

Key Principles

The beginning is the hardest it will ever be. You have no leverage, knowledge, or connections. Push through the 1-2 year learning period.

Master the three core skills: sales, lead generation, and offer creation. Everything else is secondary.

Start with unscalable work to get your first testimonial. Overdeliver absurdly. Use that social proof to climb.

Product-market fit is the highest leverage skill. Sell people what they want to buy, not what you want to sell.

Sales is simply helping people. If you know your product better than anyone, frame takes care of itself.

Personal brand allows multi-dimensional monetization. Talk about your life, not just your niche.

Energy determines execution capacity. Fix your physical health before worrying about discipline.

Control your expenses to lower your entrepreneurial skill floor. Freedom starts at $2-10k per month, not $100k.

Feel like an idiot for six months. It’s the only path. Everyone successful went through it.

The struggle filters most people. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay.

Grant’s entrepreneurship philosophy centers on psychological resilience, customer-focused selling, and building leverage through skill acquisition. His path from high-ticket closer to offer owner to multi-business operator follows a clear pattern: learn to sell, understand what people want, deliver exceptionally, systemize, scale.

Self-Awareness

Self-awareness is the ultimate lifehack. Once you know your superpower, it’s easy to “modify” mainstream tactics to suit your own style and gifts. But most people spend their entire lives denying truth, their entire orientation designed to run away from it.

The Mirror Never Lies

The hardest truth about self-awareness is that your actions are the only real data you have. Everything else—your hopes, your aspirations, your exceptions for lack of performance—are self-deceptions.

“To MAXIMIZE your self-awareness you must look only at your own ACTIONS as the Truth of your situation and realize all else that is self-generated internally (your hopes, aspirations, exceptions for your lack of performance, results you get on your one-off BEST day, etc) are self-deceptions”

Source

If you only seem to go .5 steps, then accept that and design a new route to get the result you want by going .5 steps each time. Don’t magically assume you’ll randomly just fly 300 steps and keep the success of the plan dependent on that fallacy.

The problem isn’t that your mind misses—it always will. The question is: do you have a system to ensure greater degrees of accuracy for when your mind inevitably misses? Your mind distorts reality and gives you incorrect information all the time, to very severe degrees.

“A FOUNDATIONAL mental model you need to carry in everything is ‘brain is wrong, reality is right’”

Source

The Intuition Paradox

Your intuition is 100% accurate. It’s a supercomputer that uses knowledge you can’t even articulate into the answer for you. It knows everything about you—every desire, every dislike, every secret hatred. It factors literally all of that into the answer it feeds you.

Source

But here’s the problem: listening to your brain (only what you can articulate, which is .000000000000000000000000000000008% of the knowledge that you have) over that is literally retarded.

“Your intuition is a little flashlight that shows u 3-5 feet ahead in TOTAL DARKNESS. You can WALK THE PATH or IGNORE IT FOR ETERNITY LIKE ALL OF YOUR SIMP ASS FRIENDS. Do u have the BALLS to FOLLOW it into the ABYSS towards ur God-given destiny? Or will u DIE ON THE SIDELINES?”

Source

Most people have trouble grasping that there is knowledge they have that they can’t articulate, and have even more trouble acting on it. Your body is a truth mechanism. You already know the answer, you just gotta not be a bitch and listen to it.

The Self-Discovery Trap

You can’t download unearned wisdom. The universe has leveling mechanisms. You are where you’re at because of you, and only you can bring you up.

“People think ‘self-help’ is misleading because it assumes u have 2 fix urself. This is incorrect, because u will never fix urself. U simply DISCOVER urself (aka u clearly see how the hardwiring is designed) & then u learn how to construct environments around urself that are conducive 2 ur own success”

Source

Self-discovery and self-awareness plus environmental curation. That’s the formula. It’s not “I am broken and need to fix myself.” It’s “what barrier of my design am I running into and how can I creatively re-position this situation?”

The only way you develop self-awareness is by getting into situations, exiting them, and then reflecting on what the fuck just happened. You learn the most about yourself by getting into shit situations, exiting them, and then studying the deltas between the prediction and the reality.

“If you pay attention to your life, you will often find what I call ‘intersections’ where 2 ‘patterns of neglected order’ meet at a head and continually ‘loop’ on identical timelines”

Source

The Lazy Myth

Lazy doesn’t actually exist. You’re not lazy. Lazy doesn’t actually exist. The problem is you have atrocious self-talk and no awareness of it.

“You’re sitting there thinking ‘oh i’m a little lazy fag who’s never going to amount to anything!!!’ #1 - you’re not lazy. Lazy doesn’t actually exist #2 - You’re misunderstanding of human nature is being projected onto yourself, trapping you in what YOU think is true, but actually isn’t”

Source

Can’t get yourself to do any work? Your energy sucks due to bad diet/sleep. You are confused on the steps in front of you. You are horribly uninterested in the thing you have to do anyway. No fucking shit you can’t do any work.

In that condition, that is human nature stopping you. No man can out-strongarm biology. Biology always wins. The entire game is understanding your biology and creating solutions to get around the rules of the game.

“Most people quite literally spend their ENTIRE FUCKING LIVES… DENYING truth. Their ENTIRE orientation is DESIGNED to run away from it. You need to quite literally be the COMPLETE OPPOSITE.”

Source

Reading the Room (Your Own Psyche)

Most people have zero awareness or concept of momentum. Literally no mental model for it. The reason for this is because it is purely a “see it with your own eyes” phenomena. It has to be felt, discerned towards, found, then studied.

You need to develop what is perceived as highly narcissistic tendencies to get anywhere in the real world as a man. You have to genuinely believe you can literally do anything if given enough time. You have to believe God chose you to impose your gift onto the world.

“That may SEEM like narcissism to the outside world who is not as aligned with reality as you are - but it is actually a psychological REQUIREMENT to break through the barriers necessary to taste your own greatness.”

Source

The most self-aware people on earth ironically can’t “see into themselves” like most people think they’re able to. What they’re exceptionally good at is reading their own body. Do I actually like this or not? The feeling and the actions have the wisdom that your mind might be hiding from you.

“Self-awareness often comes down to observing your own actions/body & allowing what is real (biology) to ‘anchor’ or ‘ground’ what isn’t ‘real’ on its own (aka a thought/idea).”

Source

The Energy Game

Understanding and managing the ebbs and flows of your personal energy on a day-to-day basis is the foundation for everything you will ever do or want in life. Everything is downstream from your energy.

“If you are tired af/exhausted you will not be charismatic, not write well, not be able to do anything. That is biology. MOST of the population is attempting to fight a biology problem with therapy. Wrong solution.”

Source

Most of the population hasn’t even discovered “attack energy” / applying pressure is a thing, let alone sustained attack energy plus using higher cognitive functions to analyze the shards that fly out as a response to it.

A lot of people’s “problems” aren’t from “trauma” or “being raised incorrectly”—they are from a lack of energy awareness. If you are tired as fuck/exhausted you will not be charismatic, not write well, not be able to do anything. That is biology.

The Comparison Trap

The average person is now going through the motions while dead inside. You are now forced to will your own reality into being both financially and socially.

“Most fucked up situations perforate into ur life as tangential consequences of u ignoring blaring intuition U know @ soul level ur actions aren’t aligned with what u ACTUALLY want 2 do for whatever reason Then shit goes sideways w/ micro blackswan & ur like ‘Fuck. Knew it’”

Source

How you judge the external world is how you judge yourself. Your harshest critiques are the exact same shadows that are stopping you from output. If you dropped content, you’d rip yourself. You say “people will think x” when in reality the truth is you think people will think x.

Before you actually get the thing you want, you have to make an educated guess that you’ll be able to get it by calculating ease of previous results times size/difficulty of the new opportunity.

“You have to extrapolate your estimated potential into a spacial guess on how far your skillset will be able to take you.”

Source

The Mental Model Problem

Your mental models (how accurate your perception of reality is/works in your head vs how it actually is/works) are quit literally everything. They are all you have. Get these wrong—by being unaware of how yours are structured/how to diagnosis/fix them—and you’re simply fucked.

“Once you align your mental models WITH reality the world moves FOR you If you’re not getting results in ANY area - it’s because your mental models are INCORRECT. You are WRONG about how REALITY WORKS. Accept this and FIX IT or continue failing at x thing. Very simple”

Source

If your awareness of human nature is higher than another person’s, they become predictable. You can “see” what’s happening. Your pattern recognition simply trumps theirs.

Growth is the active restructuring of relationships you have with specific words/concepts. When you change definitions, you change your reality. Words are quite literally our life. They are how we make the infinite “real.”

“GROWTH is the active restructuring of relationships u have with specific words / concepts When you change DEFINITIONS - you change your REALITY”

Source

The Liberation

You reach a point in your awareness journey where your entire life becomes a meditation. Instead of struggling for clarity, you are clarity. Your default state is awareness.

“Anytime negativity wanders into ur psyche it is automatically registered & immediately swiped away. Back 2 default”

Source

The journey of self-knowledge and the tools acquired on its path are reflected in all things. The deeper you understand your own psyche, the deeper you understand the universe. As inward so outward.

There are infinite levels of self-awareness and each level gives you more and more power to create the reality that is the truest expression of your highest self. A perpetual deepening of understanding on where you truly “fit in” to the systems in your life to maximize the percentage chance that it plays out exactly how you want it to.

Systems Thinking

The Process of Getting Over Level 1

Most people stay stuck at the first level forever. They never get over the basic shit that’s stopping them from even beginning. You’re worried about advanced tactics while still stuck on ground zero, looping on the same victim mindset, the same blame patterns, the same cope. The first step is abandoning the victim mentality entirely. Remove all victim language. Stop viewing yourself as someone things happen to and start viewing yourself as someone who makes things happen.

“Instead of viewing rejection as an attack on ur personal identity - view it as an objective science experiment. Remove yourself (as a soul) from the equation - view only ur actions.”

Source

Once you’re past that, you can actually start building. You can add bounce to your step. You can learn to experiment and run tests. But most just loop on ground zero for fucking ever. You gotta get over the first step because there’s a massive mountain to climb and you’re wasting time in the realm of crumbs.

Systems Are How You Actually Win

When you complain about not having something, what you’re actually complaining about is not having a system to get it. You don’t have a girlfriend because you don’t go out five times per week. You don’t have clients because you haven’t made offers. The answer is always right in front of your face, but you’re looking everywhere except at your actual process.

“You can ONLY make a SMALL, WORKING SYSTEM work on a larger level You CANNOT make a small, broken system SOMEHOW magically work by adding on MORE size or complexity”

Source

Get your system to work for ONE PERSON. Then simply repeat it for more people. Your scale complexity should only include literally just repeating that same process. You’re not adding anything else or unnecessary complexity. You’re simply repeating the same process that worked once and attempting to remove complexity and add simplicity as you scale up.

The most valuable skill is skill acquisition itself. This is the process of: 1) Recognizing specific skill or skill-stack deficiencies, 2) Getting yourself to take action in a scientific and methodic way, 3) Continually straightening the arrow and optimizing its flight efficiency as you go.

Source

Understanding Principles vs. Tactics

Once you understand principles, you run absolute circles around all the dweebs stuck at the depth of tactics. The principle forms the strategy which forms the tactic. So many don’t even know why they’re doing what they’re doing.

“Once you understand PRINCIPLES you run absolute circles around all the dweebs who are stuck @ depth of TACTICS. The principle forms the strategy which forms the tactic. So many don’t even know why they’re doing what they’re doing. Can’t relate.”

Source

When you’re skilled at something, many of the “standard” rules don’t apply to you. Why? Because you understand the bigger picture. You can completely neglect a rule in one area and still come out on top due to compensating by pulling other levers within the system.

Source

The Market Always Shows You What Works

The market is any feedback mechanism that is either allowing or denying the result you want. Always keep an objective eye on what the market is rewarding. The systems we need to get the results we want are always in our face, but we actively shut our eyes to them due to cope.

Source

You have to become hyper-aware on if the ball in your life is moving forward. Don’t place your focus on your feelings or internal narratives. Simply ask yourself: Am I actually moving the ball forward in my life? This is cause and effect. Literal, real, tangible movement.

“You must become HYPER-AWARE on IF the ball in your life is moving forward. Don’t place your focus on your feelings. Don’t place your focus on your internal narratives. Don’t place your focus on potential world problems that you cannot control. Simply ask yourself: Am I ACTUALLY moving the ball forward in my life?”

Source

Learning to Learn Quickly

There’s a specific process for learning something quicker than 99% of people. First, locate someone in the domain who is honest, massively successful, and doesn’t think like everyone else. Consume all their shit. Download how they think and why they make specific decisions.

Second, take massively imperfect action with reality contact. You need to develop your specific information quicker than anyone else through implementing and reflecting. Make your hour their day, your day their week, your week their month, your month their year.

Third, start making reason-based predictions. To understand something is to be able to predict how it will react to other things, and why. When you’re wrong, study the delta between what you predicted versus what actually happened, incorporate those newly discovered variables into your mental model, and guess again.

“Most people have zero concept of ‘the point of critical mass’ of starting anything new when u start something new, your work-to-result ratio is going to be astronomically asymmetrical on the WORK side”

Source

Fourth, increase risk and push your own boundaries in a process-oriented way. A system can only work on a micro level before it works on a macro level. If a system does not work on a micro level, it cannot scale. Master the game on level 1, then force yourself to level 2.

Source

The Zero to One Problem

Beginners have this strange “result obsession” that makes zero sense. The mental model of “you do things to get what you want” is completely absent. Everything you want isn’t magic. It is you doing things properly long enough until you get them.

“Beginners have this strange”result obsession” that makes zero sense. The mental model of “you do things to get what you want” is completely absent Everything you want isn’t magic. It is you doing things properly long enough until you get them.”

Source

Imagine you had to chop down a tree. A beginner will hit the tree 10 times, see the axe isn’t making much damage, and give up. A vet will hit the tree 10 times, see it’s not making damage, and ask “why isn’t this working?” They problem solve, find out the axe is dull, and sharpen it. Then they keep going until the tree falls.

The beginner doesn’t realize there is a process to get the tree to fall down that needs to be discovered. Success is simply getting a micro system working (meaning get one chop to work) and then once that one thing will lead to what you want, you simply do infinity reps until you have it.

Momentum and Leverage

By far the most “pragmatic” route to “fixing” your psyche is to only worry about what is a direct and visible bottleneck from an emotional POV. Most people play on hard mode their whole life because they simply ignore all emotional resistance instead of studying it.

“Most people play on”hard mode” their whole life because they simply “ignore all emotional resistance” instead of studying it”

Source

Once you build leverage, everything changes. Jumping financial levels isn’t about working more hours - it’s about finding and adding more leverage. Level 1: 1 unit of work yields 1 unit of output. Level 2: 1 unit of work yields 10 units of output. Level 3: 1 unit of work yields 100 units of output. Magnify yourself.

Source

Normies have zero awareness or concept of momentum. The reason for this is because it is purely a “see it with your own eyes” phenomena. It has to be felt, discerned towards, found, then studied. When you generate a little momentum, you do nothing except make it bigger and bigger and ride it up and out of whatever situation you find yourself in.

“Normies have zero mental model or respect for momentum. And this massive blindspot is why they view life as”being really hard””

Source

Designing Your Own System

Most people get lost because they turn inward when they should be turning outward. If journaling and meditating about it 500 times has yielded you nothing, you do not have the answer. Your mental models and knowledge about the world is failing you.

“People stay”lost” for exponentially LONGER amounts of time than they should. I see this ALL of the time Someone doesn’t know what their next step is So what do they do? They turn INWARD.”

Source

Being lost is never time wasted because it can be no other way. But choosing to stay lost is wasting time. When you can’t see a lane forward, you have to search for one more aggressively than you’ve ever searched before. You need new data sets, new information, new ways to do things, new options and opportunities.

The limitations you’re feeling aren’t the world’s limitations - they are your limitations. Have to expand them. Scratch 400 different itches and see what works. This will be much more beneficial than sitting in your room attempting to magically find a new path from God out of nothing.

Key Principles

Systems before outcomes. You can control your inputs but not when results arrive. Focus on building repeatable processes, not praying for perfect timing.

Scale what works small. Get one person a result, then repeat that exact process. Don’t add complexity - add repetition of what already functions.

Principles over tactics. Understanding why something works lets you break rules strategically. Tactics are fragile; principles adapt.

Learn through action, not research. Information without implementation is procrastination. The real lessons hide in doing the thing badly until you do it well.

Momentum compounds non-linearly. Nothing happens for months, then everything clicks at once. Most quit right before the ratio flips in their favor.

Study your actual behavior, not your intentions. Your actions reveal your real priorities. Design systems around who you actually are, not who you think you should be.

The market always gives feedback. If you’re not getting results, your system is broken or you haven’t run it long enough. Reality doesn’t lie.

Chapter 06

Open chapter

Personal Development

Grant’s approach to personal development rejects conventional self-help entirely. For him, growth isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about removing the bullshit that’s blocking who you already are.

Self-Development Is Release, Not Addition

Most people misunderstand what personal development actually means.

“Self-development isn’t ADDING things. It’s about RELEASING traps & letting ur natural self FREE”

Source

Grant saw himself as the same person he’d always been. The difference wasn’t that he became someone new—it was that he freed himself from insecurities and beliefs that didn’t align with reality. Modern him was always there, just trapped under layers of bullshit.

The work isn’t accumulation. It’s subtraction. You don’t need to become more—you need to remove what’s covering your natural power.

This reframes everything. You’re not broken. You’re buried.

Closers Can Only Close to Their Level of Self-Development

Grant made his money in sales, and he learned a brutal truth early:

“Closers cant handle objections cuz the bullshit the client is telling the closer is the same bullshit the closer is dealing with in their own mind. A closer can only close to HIS level of self development”

Source

If you can’t get past your own objections, you can’t handle someone else’s. If you’re secretly afraid you’re not good enough, you’ll crumble when a prospect says the same thing.

This applies far beyond sales. Your external results are capped by your internal state. You can’t out-technique your own psychology.

The fix? Go get your heart broken. Quit your job with no safety net. Do the things that force you to confront yourself. Real self-development happens in the arena, not in your journal.

The Path Reveals Itself Only After You Start

Grant had zero patience for overthinking.

“THE CLARITY U WANT IS ONLY GAINED THROUGH ACTION. THE PATH REVEALS ITSELF ONLY AFTER U START.”

Source

School trains you to get everything perfect before you begin. Real life doesn’t work that way. You can’t see the next step until you take the first one.

Most people leave massive potential on the table because they won’t start shooting intuition-based shots. They wait for certainty that will never come.

The system is the only thing in life with a clear path. Everything worth doing requires you to walk into the unknown and let it unfold.

Detach Results from Identity

When you’re learning something new, rejection feels personal. Grant learned to separate himself from outcomes:

“Instead of viewing rejection as an attack on ur personal identity - view it as an objective science experiment. Remove yourself (as a soul) from the equation - view only ur actions.”

Source

Inputs equal your words on the call. Outputs equal yes and close, or no and rejection. Either way, ask why.

This is the difference between people who improve and people who quit. Failures aren’t about you—they’re about the strategy. Adjust the inputs and try again.

You’re only offended by what you’re afraid might be true. If you know who you are, external noise becomes data instead of attacks.

You Can Fake It Until the Proof Builds

The concept of “fake it till you make it” gets misunderstood. Grant saw it differently:

“When you ‘fake it’ you are quite literally acting it out. Which means what you’re ‘faking’ is inside of you. It’s already a part of you. What is lagging is attaching said actions to ur identity. Must build proof”

Source

If you can imagine it, it’s already in you. The action proves it exists. You’re not lying—you’re pulling forward a version of yourself that hasn’t been validated yet.

The gap is between who you are and who you identify as being. You close that gap by doing the thing repeatedly until your identity catches up to your actions.

Build Your Own Operating System

Grant emphasized developing your own principles instead of borrowing everyone else’s.

“You MUST develop your own personal philosophy on how to navigate through life or you’re going to be perpetually confused and hating your own life and others around you.”

Source

Most people tour other systems without ever building their own. They see someone living one way and adopt it without checking if it fits. Then they preach it to others while secretly knowing they’re a fraud.

This creates a loop: espousing values you don’t believe in, judging others for things you don’t even do yourself, dying as a K-mart shadow version of someone you met who had more courage.

The answer is finding your own sauce and developing it. You need a personal operating system that lets you say yes or no from a place of logic and reason, not borrowed shoulds.

Answer the Call Inside You

One of Grant’s core principles was trusting your intuition even when it doesn’t make logical sense.

“Answer the call inside of you. This is the foundation of self-respect (aka fulfillment). You have an intuition as to what you should be going for. But you’re scared.”

Source

Your brain tells you it’s unreasonable, insane, not worth it. But the window to act on your soul’s calling is finite. The safe route will always be there. Your window won’t.

Ask yourself: if you died today, what’s the one thing you should have done but didn’t? Do that.

This is how you earn self-respect. Not by achieving the thing, but by having the courage to go for it regardless of what others think.

Becoming a Man Requires Suffering

Grant saw suffering as the identity catalyst.

“A boy is confident, a man is certain. As a young, ambitious dude you know you have the fire inside of you. The problem though (while young) is that you haven’t seen exactly what you’re made of yet. You THINK but don’t KNOW.”

Source

You have to prove to yourself that you are who you think you are. In today’s world, there’s no single path to do this. You have to create your own test and pass it.

Do what scares you. Then do it over and over again. That’s how you become certain instead of just confident.

Most men never impose a self-test. They stay psychological teenagers well into their forties because they never forced themselves to find out what they’re made of.

Everything Can Be a Practice Facility

Grant turned every mundane task into training.

“When I had my first sales job & was banging 400 cold calls/day - each REP I put in wasn’t me ‘trying to sell them something’…. It was me practicing my tonality. It was me practicing managing my internal energy.”

Source

He practiced resilience against negative energy attacks. He tested mental models to rationalize shitty work as worth it. Every call was a training ground.

You can make anything worthwhile if you view it through a personal development lens. The job isn’t the point—the skills you’re building are.

You’re Operating at 10% of Your Potential

Grant believed most people have no idea how much they’re capable of.

“Friendly reminder that you’re operating at 10% (MAXIMUM) of your God-given potential. You can achieve so fucking much if simply commit to dropping the bullshit distractions that aren’t serving you.”

Source

The work is waiting in the form of sacrificed pleasure. Cut the chains. Stop wasting potential because you can’t discipline yourself.

You’re six months away from changing your life forever if you lock in. The question is whether you’ll actually do it.

The Lone Wolf Never Wins

Despite all this talk of self-reliance, Grant knew you couldn’t do it alone.

“The reason the lone wolf never wins is because his delusions are never challenged. Think you have REAL potential inside of you? You’ll get your answer when someone powerful comes into your life & you either transcend up with them or watch them surpass & swing above your head”

Source

Your delusions need to be tested. You need people who will challenge your bullshit and pull you higher. Real potential reveals itself in proximity to other powerful people.

If you can’t keep up when someone enters your life who’s actually about it, you learn exactly where you actually stand versus where you thought you stood.

The Shift from Boy to Man

The transition requires you to answer the call and face uncertainty.

“The ‘period of separation & isolation’ required to go from BOY to MAN is inherently built into the undertaking of your calling”

Source

When you choose your path instead of what people want for you, those closest to you might not talk to you for a while. Nature designed it this way. The fear of letting others down isn’t actually the barrier—behind that door is relief.

You cut the cord and enter the real world. You learn to hunt on your own. You learn your style, what works, what doesn’t. Eventually you learn yourself.

Then you reach back out. The relationships repair, often stronger than before. You don’t need a $15,000 program to get your man card. You just need to stand on your own two feet.

Key Principles

Self-development is subtraction, not addition. You’re not broken—you’re buried under bullshit beliefs and insecurities. Remove what’s blocking your natural power instead of trying to become someone new.

Your external results are capped by your internal state. You can’t close above your level of self-development. You can’t out-technique your own unresolved psychology. Fix yourself first.

Clarity comes from action, not analysis. The path reveals itself only after you start. Stop waiting for certainty and start shooting intuition-based shots into the unknown.

Detach outcomes from identity. View results as data, not attacks on your soul. Failures aren’t personal—they’re feedback on your strategy. Adjust and try again.

Build your own operating system. Develop personal principles instead of borrowing everyone else’s. Find your own sauce or die a shadow version of someone braver.

Suffering is the identity catalyst. You must prove to yourself what you’re made of. Do what scares you repeatedly until you’re certain, not just confident.

Answer your soul’s calling. The thing you’re afraid to pursue is exactly what you need to do. Your window is finite. The safe path will always be there.

You’re operating at 10% of your potential. Drop distractions, lock in for six months, and watch your life transform. The work is waiting in sacrificed pleasure.

The lone wolf never wins. Your delusions need challenging. Find powerful people who pull you higher and expose where you actually stand versus where you think you stand.

True masculine love looks like intensity. Great fathers attack weakness, not the person. They prepare you through difficult training so you’re ready for anything life throws at you.

Authenticity

The hardest part about being yourself isn’t the external resistance—it’s the internal war against your own bullshit.

Most people spend their entire lives playing a character they never auditioned for, following rules they never agreed to, chasing approval from people who don’t actually matter. They mistake the manicured version of themselves for strength, when it’s actually the opposite. Every layer of fake you add is another weight you have to carry.

The Prison of Inauthenticity

“Pandering / changing how you act for ANYONE is genuinely retarded. It is the WRONG game to play… If you act inauthentically / purposefully manipulate yourself to ‘get someone to like you’… And then let’s say they do actually ‘like’ that fake version of you… Congrats. You’ve just trapped yourself in a PRISON of inauthenticity.”

Source

You cannot build a real life on fake foundations. When you contort yourself to fit what you think others want, you create a mask that requires constant energy to maintain. The exhaustion you feel isn’t from being introverted—it’s from being insecure as fuck.

Every time you agree when you disagree, every time you hide what you actually think, you’re trading your emotional sanity for surface-level acceptance. You end up surrounded by people who like someone who isn’t you. That’s not connection. That’s imprisonment.

“The bottleneck to 99% of creator’s content is authenticity. Is your content the version of yourself that shows up to the first big meeting of your new job? Or is your content you drunk on a Saturday night shooting the shit? The latter will always dominate the former.”

Source

People Have Internal Truth Radar

You can’t actually hide yourself. Your energy is always transparent—evident and obvious to everyone around you.

“People have internal truth radar & that’s why so many creators suck @ gaining attention online Creators living in complete land of delusion in their own head - nobody can relate 2 air Truth is our common thread Once creator chooses self-truth - audience grows Won’t explain”

Source

What you’re trying to hide with your words is being broadcast by your presence. The cope is thinking you’re pulling it off. Everyone can feel the fakeness—they just might not be able to articulate it.

When you choose authenticity, you naturally polarize. Some people will hate you. Good. Those are the 33% who would never like you anyway, no matter what you did. Stop wasting energy chasing them.

“Each person’s original thoughts have a unique flavor to them. And that is their competitive advantage. You can have 5 guys come to the same Truth but use it to come to different conclusions. Each guy’s expression of said truth will hit you differently. The beauty of thinking.”

Source

Tonality Is You

Your voice gives you away. How you sound reveals how you see yourself.

“Tonality is simply an outward projection of YOU What you feel and how you see yourself is how you will SOUND Much like eyes are the windows to the soul Tonality is the window to the status level that you’ve assigned yourself to”

Source

You cannot fake status or confidence in your tonality if you don’t actually feel it. The substrate shows through. This is why salespeople who secretly believe they’re scamming sound like they’re scamming. This is why people who hate themselves sound weak even when they’re trying to sound strong.

Fix the internal first. The external follows automatically.

The Self-Deception Paradox

The smarter you are, the better you are at lying to yourself.

“The more creative & intelligent you are the more creative & intelligent you will be in fooling yourself The self-deception paradox is infinite Have to perpetually keep one eye on the ground & one foot firmly planted in objectivity @ all times Do not lose urself”

Source

Your brain will construct elaborate narratives to protect you from uncomfortable truths. You’ll convince yourself you’re doing one thing when you’re actually doing another. You’ll mistake your story for reality.

The only counter is brutal honesty about your actual actions. Not your intentions. Not your explanations. What did you actually do?

“Your abilities are infinitely greater than where you think your abilities can realistically take you The TRUTH is unfathomably grander than your own perceptions about yourself Place faith in the invisible part of your highest potential and operate is if its rock-hard fact”

Source

Playing the Authenticity Game

Most people play the “perpetually agreeable” game, sacrificing their own emotional sanity for fake friendships. They burn out socially because they’re wearing masks that require constant maintenance.

The alternative is simple: be polarizing by being yourself.

“The authenticity game is when you are comfortable naturally polarizing by simply being yourself. You are not creating fake disagreements that you don’t believe in and you are also not agreeing with something you don’t agree with for the sake of social comfortability.”

Source

You think it, you say it. You want it, you get it. You dislike it, you put a boundary up.

What happens? You end up surrounded by people who actually like you for you. The mask comes off. The exhaustion disappears. You realize you’re not as introverted as you thought—you were just insecure.

“If you can STAND upon your own original ideas & shout them into the ether with CONVICTION - people will listen. There is NOTHING more powerful than an insight that you’ve gained FROM YOUR OWN LIFE that is spoken WITHOUT the need/confirmation from others.”

Source

Raw Over Edited

People are tired of fake. They want real in any form they can get it.

“Authentic / raw / uncut / unfiltered saucedumping is wrecking edits & emojis & captions and shit People are simply tired of fake. Need real in any form they can get it Now the beautiful part about this fact is that being REAL is always immediately available to YOU.”

Source

The competitive advantage you’re sitting on is yourself. But you need the balls to let it rip.

Originality isn’t manufactured. It’s what happens when you stop trying to be anyone else. When you get out of your head and let your instinct take the wheel. When you trust the spontaneous impulses without filtering them through “how should I do this” or “is this the right way.”

“The aura ur looking for is found when u psychologically ‘let go’ of all external stylistic guidelines (‘how should I do this’ or ‘how does this look’ or ‘is this the right way to x’) & simply let YOUR instinct take the wheel. Body ON, mind off.”

Source

You Are Irreplicable

You are literally one in infinity. Your combination of perspectives, experiences, and style has never existed before and will never exist again.

“Look yourself in the MF mirror & SAY TO YOURSELF ‘I’M IRREPLICABLE’ until you REALIZE that this is TRUE at the absolute core of your being. Make it stick. Fundamentally understand it.”

Source

Every person alive has a different amalgamation of insights than you do. That’s your leverage. Stop looking at everyone else’s map while you operate. What naturally comes through you is your style.

The more you try to follow someone else’s guidelines, the more you strip yourself of the only thing that actually makes you valuable: being you.

“Stop looking at the map as you operate. Just operate. What naturally comes through you is YOUR style.”

Source

When You’re Actually Being Yourself

Being yourself should feel like complete and total freedom. You can go anywhere and do anything with zero internal resistance or friction.

“Being yourself should feel like ‘complete & total freedom’. It should feel like you can go anywhere & do anything with zero internal resistance or friction. It is just you doing what you like & having fun”

Source

The easiest tell you’re not being yourself: you’re mentally following rules or asking “is this okay? Will people like this?” The second you get into your head and start extrapolating someone’s perception of your true preference, you’re on someone else’s program.

Authenticity is isolation. It’s a universe of one. Most are deathly afraid of that truth. But that’s exactly where your power lives.

“Protect your inner voice at ALL COSTS YOU know what you’re capable of Don’t let the energetic parasites flung toward you convince you out of the value that YOU are capable of offering to the world”

Source

The Cost of Suppression

Every desire you suppress, every truth you hide, every authentic impulse you override—it all accumulates as spiritual weight.

“The silent relationship you have with yourself (that nobody can see) is where the truth of what you have to offer resides. You cannot give OUTWARD if you cannot find INWARD.”

Source

People-pleasing isn’t love. It’s needy behavior deployed as a failed strategy to earn your own self-love. You’re substituting self-love with the validation of temporary approval.

Real self-love is fewer favors. More selfish with your time. More nos. More momentum in the direction of your choosing.

“Self-love is less favors. More selfish with your time. More NOs. More momentum in the direction of YOUR choosing. It all starts with you.”

Source

Two Core Commitments

There are two commitments that will make you universally attractive:

“1) The commitment to pursue TRUTH (and objectivity) in YOURSELF at all times (AKA personal responsibility spiritually, mentally, emotionally) 2) The commitment to dive in & carry the burden that your soul is telling you to carry. Refusing to place ANYTHING over that little voice inside of you”

Source

These aren’t performances. They must be real internal commitments. You are self-animated and self-correcting. You operate from a charge sparked within you, not from out there.

When you live this way, normie thoughts bounce off you. There’s zero room for them in your code.

Radical Transparency

The quickest way to quantum leap to who you want to be is radical transparency with your words, actions, and behaviors now.

“You think it, you SAY IT You want it, you GET IT You dislike it, you put a BOUNDARY up to BLOCK it”

Source

Act in the way you want to act. Become your own source of validation. Not only will you feel more free than you’ve ever felt, but everyone around you will respect the transparency. You become a trusted source of truth and feedback. Bold enough to tell it how it is.

When you are your own source of validation, all opinions cease to matter. Compliments feel like nothing. Insults feel like nothing. They’re non-events.

Key Principles

Be yourself or stay exhausted. Every layer of fake you add to get approval is another weight draining your energy. The mask costs more than the truth.

Your energy is always transparent. You cannot hide who you are. People feel the inauthenticity even if they can’t articulate it.

Polarization is the goal. Being yourself naturally repels some people and attracts others. Stop trying to be for everyone.

Smart people lie to themselves better. The more intelligent you are, the more elaborate your self-deceptions. Combat this with brutal honesty about your actual actions.

You are irreplicable. Your specific combination of experiences and perspectives is your only real competitive advantage. Stop copying others.

Authenticity feels like freedom. When you’re being yourself, there’s no internal friction. If you’re following mental rules and seeking approval, you’re on someone else’s program.

Suppression creates spiritual weight. Every authentic impulse you override accumulates as dead weight in your soul. Stop people-pleasing.

Raw beats edited every time. People are starving for anything real. Your unfiltered truth is more valuable than any polished performance.

Two commitments unlock everything: Pursue truth in yourself at all times, and follow the voice inside you that tells you what burden to carry. Nothing supersedes these.

Radical transparency is the shortcut. Say what you think, get what you want, block what you don’t. Remove every layer between the authentic self and who you show the world.

Relationships

The normie relationship to other humans is fundamentally inverted. Most people approach every interaction—romantic, business, friendship—from a place of scarcity and need rather than abundance and gift. They are energetic vampires unconsciously trying to extract validation instead of vessels overflowing with something to share.

Social dynamics are simple once you see them clearly: you either bring energy to interactions or you take it. The people who succeed in relationships of all kinds have learned to show up as net-positive contributors to every room they enter.

The Energy You Bring Determines Everything

“Social value is extremely simple: You must make people FEEL something more intensely when they are WITH YOU than they would be able to feel on their own (fun, importance, status, clarity, confidence, power, etc)”1

Most people enter conversations already defeated, hoping the other person will fill some void within them. This creates an immediate energetic drain that repels quality connections.

“The core issue most people have when starting new conversations with people (or interacting with people in general) is they are SIPHONING energy from the person they talk to. They are TAKING, because THEY NEED a good reaction or THEY are lonely.”2

The solution is counterintuitive: you need to genuinely not need anything from anyone. When you operate from true internal abundance—when you actually like spending time with yourself—you become magnetic. People can feel that you’re offering something freely rather than extracting something desperately.

Grant describes learning this on the basketball court: the teams that won weren’t the serious ones running warmups like robots. They were the ones laughing, throwing oops, wearing outrageous outfits. They took the game seriously but themselves lightly, and that freedom made them dangerous.

Charisma Is Love Without Need

True charisma sits at the intersection of genuine care and complete detachment from outcome.

“Charisma is simply love. Love of yourself and love of the other person. Temporarily surrendering any condition you’ve put on urself to be happy, cool, or to have fun.”3

This creates a paradox most people can’t hold: you must genuinely want to make someone’s day better while simultaneously being completely fine if they reject you. Goes well? Cool. Goes horribly? Who gives a fuck.

The key is positioning fun as the primary objective. Not impressing, not getting approval, not avoiding embarrassment. Just: can we have a good time right now?

When you operate this way, you’re essentially blessing people by giving them permission to let their guard down. Nobody else in their life is doing this. Everyone is too busy protecting their ego or fishing for validation.

Reading People Is Seeing Patterns, Not Judging Character

Grant describes developing the ability to see people as “completed” systems with established patterns rather than projects with potential.

“You have to view people as ‘completed’ persons who have their own operational systems (of which are completed & running & fit with yours in a certain, unchangeable way)”4

This isn’t cynicism—it’s clarity. Most people waste tremendous energy betting on someone’s potential instead of their actuality. They see red flags but convince themselves things will change.

The skilled move is observing what someone actually does repeatedly, understanding the incentive structure that drives those actions, and then asking: do I want space for this pattern in my life?

Sometimes the answer is yes with boundaries. Sometimes it’s no entirely. But stop lying to yourself about who someone is showing you they are.

The Beginning Sets The Tone

“The BEGINNING of any relationship sets the tone. Must become acutely aware of how YOUR actions are structuring the relationship / engraving what is considered ‘normal’ moving forward.”5

This applies to everything: romantic relationships, business partnerships, friendships. How you show up in the first interactions creates the template for what’s acceptable going forward.

If you’re a doormat at the beginning, you’ve set a precedent that will be astronomically difficult to reverse. If you’re your authentic self—with boundaries, preferences, and the willingness to disagree—you build something real.

Most people are too afraid to rock the boat early, so they agree to everything and hide their true preferences. Then they wonder why the relationship feels suffocating six months later.

Smart Women Are Non-Negotiable

“If you’re a smart guy you sadly have no other choice than to find a smart woman or you will just go clinically insane”6

Grant lays out a controversial but logically sound position: if you’re operating multiple steps ahead mentally, you need a partner who can track with you. Otherwise every decision becomes a friction point.

“The core issue with dealing with low IQ women is they do not have the intellectual complexity to fully understand your leadership moves (protecting both you & her in unison in real time)”7

When you make a strategic read three moves out, she interprets it as you not considering her. This creates unsolvable conflict because she literally cannot see what you’re seeing.

This doesn’t mean intelligence is the only thing that matters. But if someone can’t follow your thought process or questions every decision you make from a position of incomprehension rather than genuine disagreement, the relationship becomes educational rather than collaborative. That gets exhausting.

Authenticity Beats Strategy Every Time

The timid lose before they begin. People can smell inauthenticity from a mile away.

“Largest ‘jump’ you’ll make socially is learning to ‘fully own’ getting into a conversation. I see a lot of people very hesitant when they start convos, basically asking for permission to start the convo with their body.”8

When you approach someone—whether for friendship, business, or romance—you need to commit fully. Not aggressively, just completely. You’re not apologizing for existing or asking if it’s okay that you’re bothering them. You’re simply there, present, engaged.

This subtle energetic shift changes everything. It signals that you have something to offer rather than something to beg for.

“Pandering / changing how you act for ANYONE is genuinely retarded. It is the WRONG game to play.”9

If you mold yourself to what you think someone wants, you trap yourself in a prison of performance. Even if they like the fake version, you now have to maintain it indefinitely. The only way out is to just be yourself and let the pieces fall where they may.

The One-Strike Policy

As you develop depth of character and self-respect, your tolerance for bullshit should approach zero.

“Your life gets much ‘clearer’ once you view people as ‘completed’ persons who have their own operational systems (of which are completed & running & fit with yours in a certain, unchangeable way). This makes u ask ‘is the way I fit with this person something I want in my life?’”10

People will show you who they are. Believe them. And if who they are includes behavior that disrespects you, violates boundaries, or drains your energy—remove them immediately.

Grant describes his own evolution: “Game is important but ur ability to play is even more important.”11 You cannot let toxic people siphon your capacity to build.

This isn’t about being harsh. It’s about honoring yourself enough to only spend time with people who enhance your life rather than complicate it.

Men and Women Process Problems Differently

“Core difference between women and men’s mental health: Women need to express the problem and feel heard so they feel like it’s okay and they know they are still loved. Men need to ACTUALLY solve the problem.”12

Understanding this prevents enormous amounts of relationship friction. A woman can talk through a problem and feel better even if nothing changes externally. A man will continue to feel stressed until the external problem is resolved, regardless of how supported he feels emotionally.

Neither approach is wrong—they’re just different. Problems arise when you project your processing style onto the other person.

This is why therapy works differently for men and women. A woman can feel genuinely helped by being heard. A man might appreciate being heard, but if the problem still exists in the real world, he’s still carrying that weight.

You Can’t Save Anyone

“Any time I’ve ever stepped in to attempt to save someone has gone horribly wrong. It’s actually a complete lose-lose situation”13

People do what they want to do. If someone wanted to change, they would change. Your desire to help them is often just your own codependency masquerading as generosity.

Grant describes a friend who went through this pattern: falling for a woman in crisis, thinking his strength could stabilize her chaos. It never works. She either doesn’t want to be helped (the chaos serves some psychological function) or she can’t implement feedback (too emotionally dysregulated).

The hard truth: everyone deserves what they get because their patterns created their situation. You can love someone without taking responsibility for fixing them.

Friendship Requires Shared Depth

“Every ‘win’ in life comes packaged with the familiar & subtle reminder that everything you ACTUALLY ENJOY is already here & now”14

The deepest friendships happen when people can see each other fully. Not just the surface presentation, but the actual depths.

This requires two rare qualities: the depth itself (which comes from going through hard things and actually processing them) and the willingness to be vulnerable about what you’ve learned.

“Very rarely in your life will you come across people who are ‘full width’ in the sense that they are able to see every part of you.”15

Most relationships operate at surface level because one or both parties haven’t done the internal work. They’re still running from themselves, which means they can’t really see you either.

When you find someone who can match your depth—and more importantly, someone who uses that ability to love you rather than judge you—that’s a relationship worth protecting.

Social Skills Trump Money

“If you’re a dude who can literally just open/ start a convo & keep a GOOD convo going for 30+ mins with new people You are in a class of your own. Can ride the money train all the way up to the top & it will always be missing. High-level social skills MUCH rarer than millions”16

You can make money in isolation. You cannot build anything significant without people. The ability to connect, communicate, and build genuine relationships is the ultimate leverage.

This is why Grant emphasizes that the most valuable skill stack is: be interesting, learn to talk forever, and learn how to not step on toes in social groups. Master those three and infinite doors open.

Money has a ceiling. It can only extend as far as it can “umbrella” over human behavior. But relationships? They can go all the way up. There’s no limit to what becomes possible when you can genuinely connect with people at depth.

Key Principles

Energy is everything. You either bring energy to interactions or you extract it. Become someone who consistently makes others feel more alive, not drained.

Authenticity compounds. Every time you hide yourself, you build a prison. Every time you show up real, you attract people who actually match you.

Read patterns, not potential. People show you who they are through repeated behavior. Believe what you see, not what you hope might change.

Set the tone early. The beginning of any relationship establishes what’s normal. Don’t be agreeable to keep the peace—be yourself to build something real.

You cannot save anyone. People change when they want to change. Your job is to protect your own energy, not rescue people from themselves.

Smart men need smart women. If you operate multiple steps ahead mentally, you need a partner who can track with you. Otherwise every decision becomes a battle.

Social skills are the ultimate leverage. You can make money alone, but you cannot build anything significant without people. Master conversation and connection.

Love yourself first. You can only give what you have. If you hate being alone with yourself, every relationship becomes an attempt to fill that void.

Chapter 09

Open chapter

Money Mindset

Grant’s relationship with money is fundamentally different from the typical “make money to buy things” framework most people operate within. His approach reveals a sophisticated understanding of how money actually functions as a tool for freedom, self-respect, and psychological abundance rather than mere accumulation.

The Real Reason You’re Broke

Most people think they have a money problem. They don’t. They have a focus problem.

Grant identified this pattern early and brutally:

“If you’re not making $$$ online it is 100% a focus issue. As in you literally just refuse to sit down at a desk & work for 10 minutes a time. That is ALL you are missing” Source

The bottleneck isn’t intelligence, opportunity, or even skill. It’s the inability to engage with work that actually moves the needle. People spend years “learning” and “researching” while avoiding the uncomfortable reality that making money requires doing things that feel uncertain and socially risky.

The psychology runs deeper than simple laziness. Grant argues that most people don’t actually want what they claim to want:

“You aren’t making more $$ because you don’t have a reason to. Once the actual desire is there, u just figure it out” Source

This is the core insight most miss. The normie performs the motions of “trying” while maintaining plausible deniability. They can tell themselves they’re ambitious while never actually testing that claim against reality. True desire, Grant insists, manifests as effortless obsession—not forced discipline.

Money as Energy, Not Status

Where normies view money as a scorecard for social validation, Grant reconceptualized it as spiritual energy that enables action.

“Penny pinching is the manifestation of the unique psychological flavor of both life sulking + income anxiety” Source

He observed that wealthy people don’t “save money”—they solve problems instantly by deploying cash, which keeps their psychological state clean and forward-moving. The poor person spends hours researching to save $20, carrying that decision forward for days. The rich person spends $100 to eliminate the problem in 30 seconds and never thinks about it again.

This pattern scales beyond mere convenience. Grant identified what he calls “instantaneous logistical solves” as one of money’s primary benefits:

“A big bankroll to deploy at a moment’s notice to make my adventures of choice as frictionless as possible” Source

The freedom isn’t in the accumulation—it’s in the elimination of friction. Spontaneous flight to Medellin? Book immediately. Long line? Pay to skip. The optionality is the reward, not the flex.

The Abundance Mechanism

Grant’s most counterintuitive money principle: you must be willing to go backwards to go forwards.

“Your income will rise dramatically the moment you’re okay going ‘backwards’ financially (having less & willing to lose more). This turns the ‘flow’ mechanism on.” Source

This isn’t reckless spending—it’s strategic deployment. He drew a direct line between “clutching” arbitrary numbers and cutting off money flow entirely. The person who panics at dropping from $5k to $2k has artificially capped their earning potential because they’ve signaled to themselves that money is scarce and must be protected.

Grant’s own example: $50k+ in credit card debt while building his business, viewing it not as a crisis but as a “belief fund”:

“I was -$55k In personal ‘belief fund’ debt. Guess what? Who gave a fuck. Knew once day that i’d make so much that it didn’t matter.” Source

The operative question isn’t “what if I fail?” but rather “do I trust myself enough to bet on me?” Most can’t stomach that question honestly.

The Skill Stack Over Status Stack

Grant rejects the boomer model of “save small amounts over decades” as fundamentally misaligned with the reality of infinite online leverage:

“At 65 - give me a $1k/mo internet biz on the beach as the WORST CASE scenario & either way i’d have have kids/family to carry me to greatness financially simply because I raised them right. That was ALWAYS my mindset” Source

His framework prioritizes skill acquisition over asset accumulation. Why? Because skills create infinite optionality:

“You should simply have way too many fucking skills / connections to ever STAY broke again. Lost it all? Who the fuck cares. Can either tap into your network and immediately provide value or monetize one of your 900 skills 500 different ways. If you (L)EARN - the L goes AWAY.” Source

This reveals the deeper game: the person optimizing for a savings account is playing defense in a low-ceiling game. The person building skills is playing offense in a game with no ceiling. One path leads to comfortable mediocrity. The other leads to genuine freedom.

Sales as the Ultimate Insurance

Grant returns to one insight repeatedly across hundreds of tweets: if you can sell, you can never truly be broke.

“The reason ‘lack of insecurity’ is a non-negotiable in the men you surround yourself with in serious matters is because insecurity makes you not only anti-reliable, but also quasi-retarded” Source

His emphasis on sales skill transcends making money—it’s about developing fundamental communication and persuasion abilities that compound into every area of life. The person who can’t sell can’t communicate their value, can’t articulate their ideas, can’t move others to action. This makes them functionally powerless regardless of technical skill.

“SALES is income insurance” Source

This was his safety net when $40k in debt: the knowledge that he could always get a sales job and be back to six figures within months. That certainty allowed him to take risks normies can’t comprehend.

The First Ten Thousand Principle

Grant advocates getting to $2-10k/month online as quickly as possible through any means necessary, even if “unscalable”:

“IMO your first $10k/month on the internet needs to be made in the scrappiest way possible. Save worrying about a ‘business’ model after you actually develop cashflow” Source

Why this specific threshold? It creates the foundation for real freedom. At $2k/month, you can survive in most countries cheaply. At $10k/month, you have genuine “fuck you” money in the sense that no employer or client has leverage over you.

The normie mistake is obsessing over perfect business models and scalability before making dollar one. Grant’s path was radically different—get cash flowing through whatever works, then optimize and scale. This approach collapses years of theorizing into months of doing.

The Poverty Apprenticeship

Grant lived in a furniture-less apartment at $700/month while making six figures, deliberately keeping expenses near zero:

“I sold ALL of my shit except for what I could fit into a car And drove 40+ hours to move into a poverty apartment ($700 rent, 2 bedroom) that I signed within 20 mins of googling with 0 furniture 10 minutes away from my mentor’s house” Source

This wasn’t poverty—it was strategic positioning. By controlling expenses aggressively, he created maximum runway to take risks and learn. The normie making $100k with $8k/month expenses is far more trapped than the entrepreneur making $3k/month with $1k expenses.

His prescription for young men is ruthlessly clear:

“Save up $10k cash at a job & use that job income to also get $10k-$20k of credit lines then quit your stupid ass job & figure out online business in a country where u can rent an apartment for $400/month on card” Source

The math is elegant: $30k liquid with $1k/month expenses = 30 months runway, realistically 18-24 accounting for mishaps. That’s enough time to figure out internet money, period. The only variable is whether you actually try.

Beyond Material: The Psychological Game

Grant’s most sophisticated money insight is that the external game is fundamentally a reflection of internal psychology:

“What these retards don’t understand is you’ll be exposed to potentially the ‘realest version of love’ when u r broke. It’s the only period of ur life where the purity of ur character pulls all the weight.” Source

This reveals the trap: people optimize for money thinking it will solve their core problems (respect, connection, meaning), but those problems are psychological. Money simply reveals what was always there—or what was always missing.

The person who couldn’t be happy broke won’t be happy rich. The person who felt inadequate at $0 will feel inadequate at $10M, just with better excuses. The external never fixes the internal, but the internal always determines how you experience the external.

The J-Curve Truth

Grant’s model for income expectations breaks from the linear “work harder = make more” paradigm normies operate from:

“The J curve is real. nothing happens then everything happens. easy 2 look at ur situiation and think ‘man ive tried some shit but it hasn’t worked’ - but be honest with urself. u really didn’t TRY at that shit. u poked it with a limp wrist.” Source

Most people quit right before the inflection point. They see the flat part of the curve and conclude “this isn’t working” when they’re actually in the natural accumulation phase that precedes exponential growth.

The prescription: burn the boats. Create a situation where failure is not an option, where you’ve removed all safety nets, where the only path forward is through.

Detaching Time from Money

The ultimate money milestone isn’t a specific net worth—it’s decoupling your time from your income:

“Once u detach ur time from $$ ur ‘security’ goes away in the DOLLAR SENSE (because income AMOUNT becomes unpredictable), but then gets ‘transferred’ to the security of your own skills.” Source

This is the inflection point most never reach. They trade 40+ hours weekly for a paycheck their entire lives, never realizing that skillset development creates infinite optionality while employment creates dependency.

Grant’s framework: get to $10k/month working maximum 10 hours per week. This creates space to strategize, to build, to think—luxuries the 40-hour-week person never accesses. From that foundation, you can scale income without scaling time, which is when real wealth begins.

Key Principles

Desire precedes discipline. If you’re not taking action, you don’t actually want it—no matter what you tell yourself. Real desire manifests as effortless obsession.

Money flows to the unattached. Clutching specific dollar amounts cuts off abundance. Willingness to deploy and lose money paradoxically creates more of it.

Skills compound, possessions depreciate. Optimize for learning high-leverage skills (sales, persuasion, product creation) over accumulating assets early. The skills create infinite income streams; the assets create expenses.

The first $10k/month unlocks freedom. This is the threshold where you control time, location, and optionality. Get there by any means necessary, then optimize.

Sales is income insurance. If you can sell, you can always generate money. This skill transcends business models and economic conditions.

Poverty is strategic positioning. Aggressive expense control creates runway for risk-taking and skill acquisition. The person with low expenses is more free than the high-earner with high expenses.

Social risk tolerance determines ceiling. Making money online requires putting yourself out there—creating content, pitching, selling. The inability to handle social risk caps income permanently.

The J-curve is real. Nothing happens, then everything happens. Most quit during the accumulation phase right before exponential growth.

Money reveals rather than solves. External wealth amplifies internal state. Fix your psychology first, or money will just fund bigger problems.

Time detachment is true wealth. The goal isn’t net worth—it’s income independent of time input. This creates genuine optionality and freedom.

Productivity

The Real Game Isn’t Discipline

Most people think they have a productivity problem. They don’t. They have a self-awareness problem masquerading as laziness.

Grant realized this early: he’d finish homework in five minutes while other kids struggled. He never practiced basketball outside team practice and walked away with conference player of the year. Society’s idea of “hard work” didn’t match what actually got results.

“Everything you want financially comes from sitting at a laptop alone and doing boring ass shit for chunks of time. If anyone ever says ‘it didn’t work for me!’ Not a knowledge thing. They literally just never sat down & worked longer than 6.7 minutes.”1

The brutal truth: you’re not lazy. You’re just operating without a map. And you’ve confused society’s definition of productivity (eight hours at a desk) with what actually moves the needle.

Two Hours of Creation

Grant doesn’t call it “work.” He calls it “creation.”

“Two hours of focused work / day is all it takes for you to accomplish your goals. But this has to be a religion. I also do not call it ‘work’ when I speak to myself. I call it ‘creation’. I sit in my 0 gravity chair & CREATE with no distractions for a rock-solid two hours.”2

The time block itself matters less than the quality. Most people think they worked eight hours when they worked maybe ninety minutes across the day. Grant’s watching for actual output, not time logged.

This connects to a deeper pattern: productivity isn’t grinding. It’s sprinting, resting, sprinting again. Like waves. The normie error is trying to maintain a constant speed forever—burning out or faking it the whole way through.

The Morning System That Prints

When Grant needs to actually get shit done, he uses a brutally simple system:

“The ‘morning’ routine guaranteed to print stacks: 1) List out big mover tasks night before 2) Prep desktop/laptop setup for that work night before 3) Wake up. 2 massive water chugs 4) Phone off in other room (while all computer notifications silenced) 5) WORK BITCH Can’t fail.”3

Phone in another room isn’t a suggestion. It’s mandatory. Your brain can’t resist the pull when it’s within reach.

The setup work matters more than people think. When everything’s ready and the only option is to do the work or stare at a wall, you do the work. Remove every micro-decision between you and starting.

Grant extends this: schedule the avoided shit the night before in a specific time block. When the block comes, turn off phone, put it in a kitchen drawer, walk to workspace, sit for five minutes doing nothing, then begin.4

Energy Precedes Everything

You can’t productivity-hack your way out of having zero energy.

“U can avoid a ‘dopamine detox’ if u nail these 3 things: 1) Body = optimized (eat clean, work out, hydrate, no recent binge drinking) 2) Dopamine triggers = OFF (phone gone, 0 distractions) 3) CLEAN environment. Ur not lazy. Ur office = dirty.”5

The clean environment piece is underrated. Your external chaos reflects internal chaos. Can’t think clearly in a disaster zone.

Grant’s food philosophy: never be full. Never be thinking about food. Eat just enough to stop thinking about it, then earn your big meal later.6

Sleep matters. Hydration matters. Movement matters. These aren’t “optimization”—they’re the baseline that makes everything else possible.

When Grant was fasting for seven days, he noticed something: without food, his brain’s excuse generator broke. Usually it would cycle through coffee, snacks, environment changes. With nothing available, it could only say “eat food” over and over. The distraction mechanism became visible.7

Procrastination Is Mental Objections

You’re not avoiding the work because you’re broken. You’re avoiding it because your brain is giving you extremely creative reasons not to do it.

“Procrastination = mental objections. Pay attention 2 the hyper-creative reasons ur brain gives u 2 NOT do something. Write them down. Create both prehandles/solves for them individually. Watch how much more work u get done. U don’t have to go fix that broken lightbulb b4 work.”8

Your brain will manufacture urgency around bullshit. “I need to reorganize my desk first.” “I should respond to that email.” “Let me just check this one thing.”

All lies. All mechanisms to avoid the thing that matters.

Grant’s approach: write down the objections. Create solutions for them in advance. When the excuse comes up, you already have the counter ready.

The other move: accept that starting sucks. Always. Don’t wait to feel good about it.

“Our brain does not like startup costs. Any time you find yourself not doing the thing you need to DO. Do not waste energy on ‘doing’ the thing in your mind beforehand. Focus ONLY on overcoming the startup cost. Rest will flow.”9

The Startup Cost Problem

Your brain hates beginning. It will do anything to avoid the friction of starting something new.

Grant identified this while fasting, but the pattern shows up everywhere. You think you need coffee before working. You think you need the perfect environment. You think you need to feel motivated.

You don’t. You need to overcome the startup cost—just start—and the rest flows.

This connects to another insight: perfectionism kills more dreams than failure ever could.

“A lot of the resistance we feel towards work on a day-to-day basis comes down to perfectionism. It is quality-based resistance. Temporarily suspending all worries about QUALITY while going into each micro task / project is something I do multiple times per day. Get dirty then make pretty.”10

First draft doesn’t need to be good. It needs to exist. Then you can make it good.

Most people reverse this. They try to make it perfect from the start, produce nothing, then wonder why they’re stuck.

Clarity Before Volume

Here’s where Grant differs from grindset idiots: more hours doesn’t mean more progress.

“Productivity (and getting results) is NOT working ‘all day’. It is identifying your highest leverage tasks & actually getting them F****** done.”11

The two-part system: clarity on what to do, specific task for the day.

You need both. Without clarity, you’re spinning. Without a specific task, you’re theorizing.

The “if I only” statement matters: “If I only get this video module finished and add all supporting assets - I will consider myself productive for the day.”

That’s the bar. Not “worked eight hours.” Not “stayed busy.” Did you move the actual ball forward.

Grant noticed the difference between “working hard” and output obsession when he was younger. You can sit at a desk all day and accomplish nothing. Or you can work two focused hours and change everything.12

The Difficulty Isn’t the Block

Most people think task difficulty stops them. It doesn’t.

“It is not the task DIFFICULTY that stops ppl. It is unrealistic expectations of how quickly task can be done / competence can be achieved. ‘I tried x and it didn’t work’. Total work input b4 quitting: 5 hours. Expectation: 5 hours. Reality 100 hours. Quits13

Your timeline is wrong. Not your ability. Not the task itself. Your mental model of how long things take.

You think you should be good after five hours. Reality: you need a hundred. So you quit at hour six, convinced it’s not for you.

Grant’s philosophy: forget timelines entirely. Focus on direction.

“I’ve never understood ‘long-term’ goals. Should be long-term DIRECTION. You have no fucking clue what timeline you’re capable of. But you can control which DIRECTION ur going. Simply pick a result u want & go towards it every single day.”14

This solves the timeline problem. You can’t predict when you’ll arrive, but you can make sure you’re walking toward it daily.

The Friday Massacre

Friday is where dreams die.

“The day where so many dreams get absolutely fucking obliterated. ‘Man I did 2 hours of work on my side hustle this week. Gonna reward myself with a little break today.’ No. Your brain will always use the LOWEST-HANGING FRUIT logical argument against you.”15

Your brain knows exactly which argument will convince you to quit. It’s studied you. It knows your weak points.

“You worked hard, you deserve a break” sounds reasonable. It’s not. It’s the voice that keeps you exactly where you are.

Grant learned this during his fast: the brain will always find your one weakness and hammer it. When he was eating, it gave him ten different excuses. When he eliminated food entirely, the excuse generator broke—it could only repeat “eat food” over and over.

The solve: recognize the pattern. Your brain is wrong. Reality is right.16

Fragility Is the Enemy

Grant’s most controversial productivity take: you need to beat the fragility out of yourself.

“The way to ultimate productivity is to beat the fragility out of yourself. Remove ALL ‘conditions’ for work. Get 4 hrs of sleep night before. Get purposely f*cked so you have a massive hangover. Then sit the fuck down in a messy room & bang out 4 hours of most boring task.”17

This isn’t sustainable as a lifestyle. It’s training. You’re teaching your brain that conditions don’t matter. You can work anyway.

Most people need everything perfect: eight hours sleep, clean desk, good mood, right music, proper lighting. Then they wonder why they can’t maintain productivity.

Grant’s testing the opposite: can you perform when everything is wrong? Because that’s when you learn you don’t need the conditions you think you do.

The corollary: once you know you can work in any state, the good days become rocket fuel instead of requirements.

Numbers Don’t Lie

Grant’s first major win came from pure volume:

“This one contract alone will be paying me $12,000-$25,000/ month which is anywhere from $144k-$300k/yr. A 6 figure runrate has been achieved. Total time: 4 days. Total emails sent: 250. Total FB/IG messages sent: 89.”18

Four days. Three hundred thirty-nine touches. Six figures locked in.

This is what “doing the work” actually means. Not perfecting your calendar system. Not reading another book. Sending the fucking emails.

Grant’s philosophy crystallizes: you either detach time from money (by building systems that pay you) or you stay enslaved. The only way out is building something that compounds. Your job doesn’t compound—you reset to zero every time you switch. Your skills and systems compound forever.19

The Lone Wolf Myth

The internet sold everyone on grinding alone in the dark. Grant thinks that’s bullshit.

“You NEED community to not go fucking insane. The ‘lone wolf sigma grinder no friends’ is absolutely bullshit and will lead to massive unhappiness.”20

You need people on your wavelength. Not normies who’ll drag you back. Not crabs in the bucket. Other people doing the thing.

This doesn’t contradict the “work alone” advice. You do the work solo. But you need community around it to stay sane and get perspective.

Grant’s method: find mini-cults on the internet that are into what you’re into. Join them. Contribute. Make friends who get it.

The isolation comes from cutting off people who don’t support the mission. Not from being actually alone.

Momentum Over Morality

The biggest shift in Grant’s productivity evolution: stopping the moral judgment of himself.

“99% of moving the ball forward in your life is two things: 1) REMOVING yourself from the things you use to cannibalize your own time/attention/energy 2) Accepting you’ll never feel great when doing the work - and then just unavoidably sitting down and doing it.”21

You won’t feel motivated. You won’t feel inspired. You won’t feel ready.

Do it anyway. Those feelings are lies.

The self-flagellation for not being perfect? Also a lie. A waste of energy that should go into the work.

Grant’s watching his own patterns now: when does he actually get things done? Not when he feels good. When he removes distractions and accepts that discomfort is the price.

“If ur worried about the future realize u r worried about a THOUGHT. Its fake it is a GUESS about the future. Ur brain skews negatively to a tremendous degree.”22

Your brain’s prediction is almost always wrong. So stop letting it run your life.

The Real Productivity Hack

After everything, Grant’s actual productivity system is almost disappointingly simple.

“The world’s simplest productivity system: 1) Schedule out the big-mover task the night before 2) Wake up & put phone in different room 3) Finish the task. This should only take 1-3 hours max.”23

That’s it. One task. One to three hours. Phone gone.

No elaborate calendar blocking. No Pomodoro technique. No app subscriptions.

Just: know what matters, remove distractions, do it.

The sophistication isn’t in the system. It’s in knowing which task actually matters. Most people have that backwards—they have perfect systems for the wrong work.

Grant’s learned to separate productive procrastination from real work. Your brain will suggest reading a beneficial book instead of doing the boring work that makes money. It’s still procrastination, just disguised.24

Key Principles

Volume beats optimization. Three hundred thirty-nine emails in four days creates more results than perfecting your morning routine for a month.

Two focused hours daily is enough. Not eight hours of pretending to work. Two hours of actual creation, treated like religion.

Your brain is the enemy. It will give you incredibly creative reasons not to work. Write them down. Solve for them in advance. When they appear, you already have the counter.

Remove all startup friction. Set up your workspace the night before. List the task. When the time comes, the only option is working or staring at the wall.

Conditions are bullshit. You don’t need perfect sleep, perfect environment, perfect mood. You can work anyway. Train yourself to prove this.

Phone in another room isn’t optional. Within reach, you will check it. Guaranteed. Remove the possibility entirely.

Direction matters more than timelines. You can’t predict how long anything takes. But you can walk toward it every single day until you get there.

Procrastination is unmade decisions. You’re avoiding choosing how to approach the work. Just start. Clarity comes from doing, not from thinking about doing.

The work never feels good beforehand. Accept this. Do it anyway. Feeling good is not a prerequisite for productivity.

Energy precedes everything else. Clean food, hydration, sleep, movement. Not optional optimizations. The foundation that makes work possible.

Psychology

Grant operates from a foundational belief that psychology is the ultimate unlock. Not surface-level self-help bullshit, but actual understanding of how your mind works, how other people’s minds work, and how to manipulate both toward your desired outcomes.

“Writing is pure, raw emotion. I find myself tweeting in the mornings to get myself AMPED for the day. A form of brainwashing myself in certainty, excellence & achievement. The act of typing stirs my emotions. And those emotions are then slammed onto the screen. Remembered.” Source

The game is emotional state management, pattern recognition, and understanding the predictable ways humans operate—including yourself.

You Can Only Give What You’ve Given Yourself

Grant learned this in sales: you cannot make someone else feel something you’ve never accessed in yourself.

“YOU CAN ONLY GIVE EMOTIONS TO PEOPLE YOU’RE ABLE TO GIVE TO YOURSELF Solve your own mental bullshit and you can solve anyone else’s” Source

Underrated closer skill? Controlling your own emotions. If you can stay in a generally good mood on all your calls, you have a massive advantage. Most mediocre closers are constantly battling anger and depression issues.

The pattern: fix yourself first, then extend that energy outward. You can’t verbally hug a prospect and make their “bitch version” feel safe if you’ve never done it for yourself.

Entering the Conversation Already Happening

All of psychology, sales, content, and persuasion boils down to one principle Grant returns to constantly: understand what’s already happening in someone’s head.

“The #1 fundamental principle that needs to be kept @ forefront of mind when dealing with anything relating to people is THEIR self interest.” Source

Not your wants. THEIR wants. Customer wants. Her wants. His wants. This sounds obvious but literally no one does it.

Robert Collier said it: “Enter the conversation already taking place in the customer’s mind.” Every word you say generates a reaction in their head. If you say “you look sexy as fuck,” they feel happy. If you say “you’re a failure,” they feel confused and question the validity based on who you are.

These reactions become predictable. Do you understand? When you can predict reactions, you can CALL THEM OUT and SOLVE them in real time.

“EVERY WORD YOU SAY will generate a verbal reaction/response in the customer’s mind… These reactions become PREDICTABLE.” Source

Example: Hook is “You need to be more narcissistic.” Average person thinks: “No I don’t fuck you narcissists are mean!” Next clip: “Now I know what you’re thinking - ‘i dont wanna be a narcissist cuz they are mean and they’ve hurt me!’ and I used to think that too but hear me out.”

You’re in their mind now. You latch onto it like a river and don’t let go until you make your point.

Procrastination Is Mental Objections

Grant frames procrastination not as laziness but as your brain generating objections to doing the thing.

“Procrastination = mental objections. Pay attention 2 the hyper-creative reasons ur brain gives u 2 NOT do something. Write them down. Create both prehandles/solves for them individually.” Source

Your brain will tell you that you need to fix that broken lightbulb before you can work. You don’t. That’s an objection masquerading as logic.

Write down every creative reason your brain gives you to NOT do something. Then create solutions for each one individually. Watch how much more work you get done.

The startup cost problem: your brain doesn’t like startup costs. Any time you’re not doing the thing, don’t waste energy “doing” it in your mind beforehand. Focus ONLY on overcoming the startup cost. The rest will flow.

Systemizing Emotional Responses to Feelings

“Most underrated skill to NOT GIVING UP is being able to systemize your emotional responses to certain FEELINGS” Source

When learning a new language, you feel overwhelmed and like you’re making no progress. Most people identify with that feeling and quit. You need to NOT identify with it.

You systemize the response: “This feeling means I’m learning. This is normal. Keep going.”

Same applies everywhere. Learning something new emotionally parallels starting a business—you have to be okay continually looking like a fucking retard for a long period of time. If that’s your only skill, you’ll be okay.

Mental Models Must Align With Reality

“Once you align your mental models WITH reality the world moves FOR you If you’re not getting results in ANY area - it’s because your mental models are INCORRECT. You are WRONG about how REALITY WORKS.” Source

Accept this and fix it, or continue failing at the thing. Very simple.

Grant sees most people’s problems as fundamentally incorrect models of how things work. They think they have a willpower problem when they have a model problem. They think they need more discipline when they need a better understanding of cause and effect.

Business terms extrapolate to every area of life because business = getting results. Life = getting results. “Nobody has biz problems. They have personal problems reflected in their biz.” Good mental models are good mental models.

The Subconscious Picks Up Everything

Grant learned this viscerally when he had a dream about Mike Myers after unconsciously seeing a commercial while having a conversation in another room.

“You can’t even fathom all of the bullshit your subconscious picks up and latches onto - even when your conscious is ZERO % AWARE of it” Source

He was 0% consciously aware of the commercial, yet it infected his psyche and played out in his dreams. After this experience, he became hyper-aware of what he allows himself to come into contact with. If it doesn’t serve him, it’s blocked from his reality.

Your subconscious downloads everything around you. You’re being programmed constantly. The question is whether you’re choosing the programming or letting it choose you.

You Reach Awareness Clarity

“U reach a point in ur awareness journey where ur entire life becomes a meditation Instead of struggling for clarity, u ARE clarity.” Source

Your default state becomes awareness. Anytime negativity wanders into your psyche, it’s automatically registered and immediately swiped away. Back to default.

This is the end state of psychological work—not that you never have negative thoughts, but that you catch them instantly and let them go without attachment.

Taking Personal Responsibility

“You MUST take personal responsibility for your life & remove all blaming, finger pointing, & excuse making from your life. It’s YOU.” Source

Many young men search for complex tactics and life hacks while ignoring the absolute base fundamental principle: take personal responsibility. You may not have been dealt the best cards. We all have trauma. Guess what? We ALL have.

What are you going to do about it?

You’re a healthy individual with access to the internet. Everything you’ve ever wanted is just knowledge, commitment, and follow-through away. Blaming anything external is failure. You are the only thing you can control.

Grant frames this as the first pill you must swallow: accept your inadequacy, recognize that what you have in life is directly related to your competence levels, and commit to becoming better.

God-Level Psychology Creates God-Level Everything

“Psychology is at the root of everything we do (because everything we do involves humans). A god-level understanding of psychology makes you a god-level marketer & content creator.” Source

You can train yourself to FEEL the psychological relatability of your messaging. Whether it’s copy, content, ads, videos—you can feel when the messaging misses. There’s no pop, no pizzaz. And when it hits? OH FUCK. THAT’S GOOD. You feel it.

Once you’re at this level, when you say it’s good, it isn’t subjective. It’s objective. Why? Because it’s objectively aligned with human psychology. You have acquired the sight.

The messaging on your content is identical to the messaging going on in the prospect’s head. You’re mimicking their thought flow. You’ve entered the conversation already taking place.

Tonality Is a Genuine Superpower

“Mastering tonality is a genuine superpower that will serve you in all areas of life Being able to hit specific emotional notes inside of people (on command) is actually crazy” Source

Grant was called the “monotoned salesman” when he started. So he practiced. Every person he got on the phone became a training ground for his tonality. He wanted to see how drastically he could manipulate his voice to get the desired result.

He learned that tonality issues were actually expression issues. He had to unwind mental shit and deal with emotional shit before he could express more freely. But now he ALWAYS knows the fixes because he did the thing.

This is the pattern: identify the block, do massive reps to burn through it, incorporate the lesson into your body. Now you have the skill forever.

Dreams Reveal Truth Through Metaphor

Your dreams show you how you actually feel about situations, but disguised in metaphor specific to your associations and language.

Grant uses dreams for self-analysis. The emotions in the dream point to the truth. You ignore the literal images and focus on the emotional wavelength. Then ask: where in my real life do I get this exact same emotion?

When people tell you their dreams, they’re inadvertently revealing innermost truths. Especially if they tell you about you in their dream—that shows their true preconceptions of you.

The Gut Is the Second Brain

“One of the biggest modern science L’s is how non mainstream the importance of the gut is when it comes to physical, mental & psychic health” Source

Grant sees the gut as literally the second brain. Gut health as “alternative health” is wild. It should be taught as core to physical, mental, and psychic health.

This fits his broader model: everything is connected. Your body affects your mind. Your mind affects your body. You can’t separate them.

Key Principles

Psychology is the master skill. Understanding how minds work—yours and others’—unlocks everything else.

You can only give emotions you’ve accessed in yourself. Fix your internal world to help others.

Enter the conversation already happening in their head. Understand their self-interest, not yours.

Procrastination is mental objections. Write them down, create solutions for each.

Systemize your emotional responses to feelings. Don’t identify with temporary emotions.

Align your mental models with reality. Wrong models = no results, no matter how hard you work.

Your subconscious picks up everything. Guard what you expose yourself to ruthlessly.

Take complete personal responsibility. Blaming external factors is failure.

Master tonality to hit emotional notes on command. This serves you in all areas of life.

Dreams reveal truth through metaphor. Study the emotions, not the literal images.

Life Philosophy

Your Life Is Right Now

“Your life is NOW WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING WAITING FOR” Source

Grant returns to one core idea obsessively: the life you want isn’t waiting at the end of some prescribed path. It’s available right now, if you have the courage to design it. Most people spend decades waiting for permission that will never come, postponing joy until some arbitrary external milestone.

“Days don’t exist Why the fuck can’t you make your dreams come true on a TUESDAY?” Source

The distinction between “living” and “waiting to live” runs through everything Grant teaches. He sees most people trapped in a strange holding pattern—not actually engaging with their lives, just enduring days until Friday, then years until retirement, then decades until death. The urgency is real because time actually passes.

“If you’re not taking action (but want to) It’s largely because you’re already living a large majority of the life you actually want, just on a smaller scale” Source

The analysis cuts: you’re not taking action because the pain of your current situation isn’t actually that bad. You’ve made it work. The problem is a scale issue, not a fundamental life design issue. But scaling requires discomfort you’re currently unwilling to bear.

The Intuition vs. Logic War

Grant’s framework centers on a fundamental split: your body knows what you want, but your mind argues you out of it. The body operates on instinct and truth. The mind operates on borrowed programming and fear of external judgment.

“I had never used the term”God” until i abandoned the logical mind entirely & began operating purely off of gut instinct & intuition” Source

This isn’t religious. It’s operational. Grant describes God as intelligent design—the natural unfolding of reality that becomes visible when you stop forcing logical frameworks onto everything and start trusting the directional compass already built into you.

“The way to become stronger is by simply committing to honor your intuition. That’s it. It is training yourself to honor BODY (TRUTH) over logical mind.” Source

The process is simple but terrifying: your body already knows the next step. The problem is your mind has constructed elaborate justifications for why you shouldn’t take it. Those justifications are almost always about maintaining external approval or avoiding the discomfort of being seen.

“You already have every answer you’re looking for You’re just not LISTENING to it” Source

Grant argues the entire self-help industrial complex exists to distract you from the obvious. You don’t need another framework. You need to stop lying to yourself about what you actually want and start acting on it.

The External Opinion Death Trap

The central bottleneck for most people isn’t skill or resources. It’s the inability to act against perceived external judgment.

“Getting over what people think about you is level 1 It’s the INTRO. Where everything begins.” Source

This is the gateway. Until you can risk exploding the opinion of the person whose approval you want most, you’re trapped. Every other fear is downstream of this one.

“Once you stop being cucked & risk exploding opinions of those closest 2 u, all opinions after that moment cease to matter.” Source

The mechanism is specific: identify the ONE opinion that would hurt most to lose. Then deliberately put it at risk by pursuing what you actually want. Once you survive that explosion, nothing else compares. You’ve killed the final boss at level 1.

“The chains you think are trapping you are completely made up. They are fictitious. They’re actors in the storyline you’re playing in your mind.” Source

Nobody is actually holding you hostage. You’re staying put because you’ve constructed an elaborate story about what will happen if you leave. Test it. Leave. Watch the story dissolve.

The Path Reveals Itself Through Action

Grant repeatedly emphasizes a truth that frustrates people searching for certainty: you can’t know the right path until you start walking.

“THE CLARITY U WANT IS ONLY GAINED THROUGH ACTION. THE PATH REVEALS ITSELF ONLY AFTER U START.” Source

The school system trained you to believe there’s a correct answer someone can give you. There isn’t. Real life has thousands of right answers, each requiring you to forge your own path through trial and error.

“Everything i’ve held with 100% commitment that I WILL get has ALWAYS came to me, without fail - but in the weirdest & most unpredictable way possible” Source

Intelligent design operates this way: you get what you’re aiming at, but never through the route you planned. The commitment combined with eyes-open flexibility is what allows serendipity to work.

“U DO NOT HAVE THE ANSWER Ur mental models & knowledge about the world is failing you. You are putting a mirror up to an empty wall & studying the reflection of nothingness” Source

When you’re lost, journaling and meditation won’t save you. You need new information from the outside world. You need to go try shit, meet people, explore possibilities you can’t currently see. The answer isn’t inside your head—it’s out there waiting to be discovered.

Pain Is the Growth Mechanism

Grant’s view of pain is the opposite of modern self-help. Pain isn’t something to avoid or manage. It’s the mechanism that burns wisdom into your soul.

“Tremendous pain is the GLUE that sticks the wisdom onto your soul.” Source

You can hear advice a thousand times. It doesn’t stick until reality forces you to touch the stove long enough to truly learn. The lesson only becomes permanent when the pain is severe enough to tattoo it onto your being.

“There is no unearned lessons. Have to touch the stove & burn yourself before you TRULY understand what the opposite is like.” Source

Most people think they’re broken because only extreme pain motivates them. Grant reframes this as normal human nature. The depth of your rock bottom creates the height of your rebound—if you choose to get back up.

“When you’re in a LOW… WHAT DO YOU DO DURING YOUR LOWS? Do you take them PERSONALLY & allow yourself to ride their waves of invitation to the barren sea of apathy?” Source

The skill is learning to weather the emotional lows without letting them derail your trajectory. You don’t fight the low. You accept it’s outside your control, detach, and keep moving forward anyway. The low will pass. Your path doesn’t change.

The Mission Comes First

Everything Grant teaches about life design orbits one central principle: the mission is #1. Always. Everything else arranges itself around that commitment.

“I am continually holding in mind the PATH my life is going. A perpetual, directional audit” Source

This isn’t rigid goal-setting. It’s directional awareness. You’re constantly checking: does this move me toward what I actually want, or is this a distraction disguised as an opportunity?

“Life is composed of different ‘missions’. When ur MISSION changes, u will find urself ‘farther along’ on a path that no longer serves u.” Source

The hardest transitions are when your mission evolves. What looks like regression to outsiders (quitting the good job, leaving the relationship) is actually progression on your new path. External metrics don’t capture internal alignment.

“Once you understand that CONVERSION is a game of messaging And MESSAGING is a game of A/B testing You get retardedly persuasive in your every day life.” Source

This applies beyond business. Life itself is continuous A/B testing. You try approaches, measure results, adjust. Most people run the same failing test for decades because they never consciously examine what’s working.

Adventures Over Optimization

Grant lived a specific formula in his 20s that he evangelizes: make money while adventuring relentlessly. Don’t wait until you’re rich to live. Design your income around your desired lifestyle from day one.

“I have a hunger only stacking millions with my boys and traveling around the fucking planet living 18 different lifetimes of experiences can satisfy” Source

The vision is specific: financial freedom paired with maximum life experience. Not one then the other. Both simultaneously.

“I DO NOT CARE about being financially rich at 70. Because ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD won’t make up for the fact that you lived your life like a bitch.” Source

At 70, wealth is measured in stories and experiences, not bank accounts. The joy comes from reflecting on a life actually lived, not watching wires hit while you wasted your youth grinding.

“Now that the loser brigade is finished 20s is all about adventure, risk, and shooting higher than you think is ever possible for yourself” Source

The window for certain experiences closes. You can make money at any age. You can’t relive your 20s. Optimize for what’s scarce (youth, energy, time for adventure) not what’s abundant (future earning potential).

Standard of Living vs. Quality of Life

Grant makes a crucial distinction most people miss entirely.

“Many people conflate ‘standard of living’ with ‘quality of life’ to their own detriment.” Source

You can have the fast car and big house while hating your life. Those are standard of living metrics. Quality of life is internal: do you have the space and energy for a peaceful mind? Are you actually enjoying your days?

“A HIGH standard of living without the ‘space’ & ‘energy’ required 4 a peaceful mind = L” Source

Most people build their own cages. They acquire financial obligations that trap them in situations they despise, all to maintain appearances nobody actually cares about.

“What nobody tells you about freedom is that you may not be equipped for it.” Source

Freedom isn’t just about money. It’s about internal capabilities: Can you generate your own direction? Make decisions with incomplete information? Move through uncertainty? Discipline yourself when no one’s watching? Most can’t, which is why they stay trapped.

Narrative Is Everything

The stories you tell yourself about your past determine your present behavior. Change the story, change the behavior.

“Everything i’ve held with 100% commitment that I WILL get has ALWAYS came to me, without fail - but in the weirdest & most unpredictable way possible” Source

Grant’s entire operational framework is built on narrative control. He doesn’t let external circumstances define meaning. He authors his own interpretation of events.

“You can quite literally author how u see ur own life & make it serve u.” Source

Your past is fluid, not fixed. The same events can be reframed as wins or losses depending on the story you overlay. Most people trap themselves with victim narratives that keep them stuck.

“Realize you can’t predict the future. ‘If i did x my life would look like x’. No it wouldn’t. U can’t model infinite complexity.” Source

Stop ruminating about what could have been. You literally can’t know. Choose to believe it wouldn’t have worked anyway, take a breath, move on. That’s how you stay bouncy instead of bitter.

The Absolute Pivot

Growth requires the ability to completely abandon what’s not working and rebuild from zero.

“An absolute pivot is when your old foundations/premises/assumptions of which you built your entire old life on become absolutely nullified with your new perspective” Source

Most people can’t do this. They see the chains, but they’re too afraid to explode them. The first fear is fear to look (conducting an honest audit). The second fear is fear to act (actually making the change).

“You must be ready to burn yourself in your own flame; how could you rise anew if you have not first become ashes?” Source

The Nietzsche quote captures it: you have to be willing to destroy your current self to become your next self. The old must die for the new to emerge.

“A step forward on YOUR OWN PATH will often appear as a ‘step backward’ to someone on the outside looking in.” Source

This is why external validation fails. Your necessary pivots look insane to people operating from different value systems. Their confusion doesn’t mean you’re wrong. It means they can’t see what you see.

Key Principles

Your life is right now. Stop postponing joy and adventure until you hit arbitrary milestones. Design a life you’re excited to wake up to today, not someday.

Body over mind. Your intuition knows the path. Your logical mind argues you out of it with fears about external judgment. Trust the body’s directional compass.

External opinion is the first boss. Until you can risk losing the approval of whoever you want it from most, you’re trapped. Kill that fear and everything else becomes possible.

Action reveals clarity. You can’t think your way to the right path. Start walking and the path illuminates itself through trial and error.

Pain tattoos wisdom. Growth feels terrible. The worse it feels, the deeper the lesson burns into your soul. Don’t run from hard experiences.

The mission is #1. Everything arranges itself around your commitment to your path. Protect it ruthlessly from distractions disguised as opportunities.

Standard of living ≠ quality of life. The car and house mean nothing if you hate your days. Optimize for internal peace and space, not external appearances.

Narrative is fluid. Your past is a story you’re telling yourself. Change the story to change your present behavior. Reframe everything as progression.

Absolute pivots are necessary. Growth requires completely abandoning what’s not working. Don’t cling to sunk costs. Burn the old self, rebuild from zero.

Adventure while young. Money can be made at any age. Youth and energy are limited. Don’t sacrifice your 20s grinding alone—design income around lifestyle from day one.

Energy Management

The foundation of everything you want in life sits downstream from a single variable: your energy levels. Most people are trapped in a perpetual state of exhaustion, wondering why they can’t execute, why they lack discipline, why they feel stuck. The answer isn’t what you think.

Your Energy Problem Is Actually Everything

You don’t have a discipline problem. You have an energy problem.

“99% of dudes completely already fucked because they genuinely think they are a loser (consciously or subconsciously) Have to fundamentally fix this You’re always going to land where your subconscious is shooting.” Source

When your energy is destroyed, every task feels insurmountable. Your brain says “we can’t do that now” not because you’re lazy, but because it genuinely cannot estimate the energy cost of unclear tasks. The problem compounds: low energy creates unclear thinking, unclear thinking creates procrastination, procrastination creates self-hatred, self-hatred drains more energy.

Most attribute this to character flaws. They think they’re broken. They’re not. They’re just running a destroyed operating system on a depleted battery.

“Once your closing skills are dialed in, you MUST learn how to manage your energy. Book your calendar full with 12-14 calls in a day. All your energetic weak points will get exposed. Will be forced to alter diet, sleep, emotional expulsion etc to be table to take that volume” Source

The body adapts. But you need to understand what you’re working with first.

The Biology of Getting Shit Done

Your body is not a computer that runs at constant output. It operates in waves. Sprint, rest. Attack, recover. This is not a bug—it’s the design.

“Productivity (and getting results) is always a SPRINT/REST dynamic instead of a ‘perpetually chug along at same speed’ dynamic.” Source

The 9-5 paradigm has poisoned your understanding of how humans actually function. You’re not meant to produce at identical intensity for eight consecutive hours. That’s a factory model imposed on organic machinery.

When you push abnormally hard, your body clocks it. Within 2-4 days, you’ll be forced to rest whether you like it or not. You can delay this for a cycle or two, but the debt accumulates. Eventually, biology throttles you into submission.

Understanding this changes the game. Instead of fighting your natural rhythms, you design around them. You capture your manic highs in systems that compound. You rest strategically instead of crashing randomly.

“As you understand more about yourself & the world, you eventually are able to see ‘the invisible things around you that influenced you’ that as a kid you were blind to that you ended up misattributing to YOURSELF” Source

The Two-Week Reset

Most people’s energy is wrecked by three things: stimulants, garbage food, and destroyed sleep schedules. The fix is brutally simple, but requires weathering a shit period.

“If you fix your energy everything will basically fix itself. But there’s a ‘two week shit period’ that you have to go through to get to ‘actual energy’.” Source

The protocol: 1. No coffee, stimulants, or alcohol 2. Real food only 3. Eight hours of sleep at identical times 4. Workout 4x per week 5. Drink enough water

For the first 14 days, you’ll be tired and hungry. Your body is recalibrating. Don’t fight it. Sleep when you need to. Eat as much as you want. The ONLY goal is making it to day 14.

Then something shifts. Energy you forgot existed comes back online. Your hunger regulates. Your sleep deepens. You’re suddenly operating at a level you didn’t know was possible.

“Going 0 caffeine & fasting during most of day is wildest energy hack in the game You simply never crash” Source

This isn’t theory. This is the most pragmatic move you can make. Everything else is trying to drive with the parking brake on.

Learning to Read Your Body

Your body is always talking, but most people can’t hear it. They use umbrella terms like “tired” or “stressed” without distinguishing between surface exhaustion and nervous system depletion.

“Ur body is always TALKING but does so in a very subtle way Once you can feel & interpret the nuanced sensations you gain a much deeper control / understanding” Source

There are two types of tiredness. Surface level is when you’re tired but can still go out and socialize. Your central nervous system is fine. Visceral tired is when coffee does nothing and you keep yawning. Your CNS is cooked.

Learning to distinguish these states tells you whether to push through or rest. Pushing through visceral exhaustion doesn’t build discipline—it builds burnout.

The body also stores emotional energy in specific locations. Tightness in your hips affects your ability to ground. Tension in your shoulders affects your breathing. These aren’t separate systems. It’s one unified organism.

“Your body will expend effortless amounts of infinite energy defending what you believe to be true But will fight you tremendously hard when you begin exerting energy to seek information that proves what you know isn’t true” Source

When you become attuned to these signals, you stop fighting yourself. You work with your design instead of against it.

Substances and the Yin-Yang Trap

Every substance that gives you something also takes it back with interest. This is non-negotiable physics.

“If you drink coffee for ENERGY and MOTIVATION… You will eventually crash. And have no energy.” Source

Coffee compresses your energy window. You get intense focus for a few hours, then irritability and depletion. The normie solution is more coffee. The intelligent solution is removing coffee entirely and discovering what your baseline actually is.

The same pattern applies to everything. Alcohol removes social anxiety—then amplifies it tenfold when sober. Weed reduces anxiety—then makes it worse later. The rebound is built into the mechanism.

“Society under-severitizes caffeine IMO. Many walking around w/ neuroticies/energy issues unconsciously fueled by caffeine” Source

Most people are in a perpetual debt cycle with their own nervous system, borrowing from tomorrow to function today. You can’t win this game long-term. The only winning move is to stop playing it.

The Alignment Override

Energy management isn’t just about sleep and food. The biggest energy drain is misalignment.

“What you’re doing with your life is the most important question. Why? Because ‘what you’re doing’ is the core nucleus that affects your entire energetic system/being that is known as ‘you’.” Source

When you’re doing shit you hate, your body resists. It drags. It fights you. When you’re aligned with what you actually want, energy appears effortlessly. This isn’t motivation porn—it’s observable reality.

The misalignment tax is astronomical. You spend all your energy fighting yourself instead of building. You wake up tired because your subconscious is screaming at you to stop.

“Your mental health issues are FLOW PROBLEMS which are ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS Re-align your life with TOUGH CONVERSATIONS & DOING THINGS YOUR OWN WAY TO SATISFY YOURSELF & you immediately open those channels back up & FEEL the nourishment.” Source

Fix the big things first. No amount of optimizing sleep or diet will make you love a job that destroys your soul.

Walking: The Most Underrated Tool

The lymphatic system clears toxins from your body. Unlike your circulatory system, it has no pump. It relies on movement—specifically, walking.

“Started walking more (10-20k steps/day) & began to feel the lymphs release harder in sleep…Then realized that they are in perfect spots to be ‘shaken up’ via walking.” Source

Walking does things that intense exercise cannot. It drains your lymphatic system more effectively than lifting. It grounds your nervous system. It provides mental clarity without depleting your CNS.

The mechanism is elegant: your arms swing (armpits drain), your knees extend (knees drain), your body rotates (collarbone drains). Everything moves in the exact way required for lymphatic drainage.

“By far the most monstrously ‘effortless’ weightloss hack that nobody talks about is walking daily in busy places with high dopamine.” Source

Two one-hour walks per day. In busy areas where you can people-watch. Your brain doesn’t register the effort because it’s occupied. Free steps, free detox, free mental reset.

The Energy-First Frame

When you’re low on energy, your perception warps. Problems feel heavier than they are. Your mind attributes the weight of exhaustion to the problem itself.

“If you ever swan-dive into a shitty psychological state, the MAJORITY of that state will be physiology-driven.” Source

This creates a vicious cycle. You feel bad, so you analyze why you feel bad, which makes you feel worse. The analysis itself becomes the problem.

The solution is to recognize when you’re operating from a depleted state and refuse to make decisions or draw conclusions. Fix your physiology first. Then reassess. Most of what felt catastrophic will evaporate.

“The way you can ‘bounce out’ fairly aggressively (and keep your psyche bouyant) is by realizing the LOW is mostly physiologically driven - and your mind will attach narratives to rationalize the feeling” Source

Your thoughts when tired are not trustworthy. They’re rationalization engines for a depleted state. Treat them accordingly.

Designing for Your Highs

You can’t maintain peak energy forever. The question isn’t “how do I stay energized all the time?” It’s “how do I maximize my productive windows when they appear?”

“The massive re-frame isn’t ‘how can i extend the energy/clarity window forever’…The question is instead ‘how can I position my environment for a lay-up 100x when the next wave strikes’” Source

This requires preparation. The night before a high-energy day, you clarify exactly what needs to be done. You remove friction. You eliminate decisions.

When the wave hits, you don’t waste it figuring out what to do. You execute. The preparation was the leverage point.

This is why organization matters. Not for aesthetic reasons, but because clear environments create clear execution paths. When your desk is clean and your task is obvious, your high-energy self has a runway to sprint down.

Energy as Spiritual Flow

At the deepest level, energy isn’t just biological—it’s spiritual. When you’re aligned with your true path, energy flows effortlessly. When you’re misaligned, everything becomes heavy.

“Alignment feels like pulling from the infinite spring, not artificially replenshing a broken system all of the time.” Source

This is why obligations drain you and missions energize you. One fights your nature. The other expresses it.

The goal isn’t to become a productivity robot. It’s to design a life where what you need to do and what you want to do are the same thing. Where work feels like play. Where the energy required appears naturally because you’re pointed in the right direction.

“God is waiting to imbue you with all that you need. The infinite surplus is on hold awaiting your command…You ASK, and it will be given. But your ASK must be in the form of ASKTIONS” Source

Key Principles

You don’t have a discipline problem—you have an energy problem. Fix your energy and most execution issues vanish.

Your body operates in waves, not constants. Design for sprint-rest cycles instead of fighting your natural rhythm.

The two-week reset is non-negotiable. Cut stimulants, eat real food, sleep consistently. Endure the transition period.

Learn to distinguish surface tired from nervous system tired. One means push through, the other means rest.

Substances always take back what they give, with interest. The rebound is built into the mechanism.

Misalignment is the biggest energy drain. No optimization hack can fix doing shit you hate.

Walking drains your lymphatic system better than intense exercise. 10-20k steps daily in busy areas.

Your thoughts when tired are not trustworthy. They’re rationalizations for a depleted state.

Don’t waste high-energy windows figuring out what to do. Prepare the night before so you can execute when the wave hits.

Alignment unlocks infinite energy. When you’re on your true path, the energy appears automatically.

Decision-Making

The average person spends their entire life stuck in indecision, trapped in analysis paralysis. They wait for perfect information that will never come, for certainty that doesn’t exist, for permission from authorities who don’t care. Meanwhile, their dreams die in the waiting room.

“Most people know the answer to their question but are too much of a b1tch 2 actually initiate the decision”

Source

Decision-making isn’t about finding the right answer. It’s about developing the psychological capacity to move forward despite uncertainty.

The Permission Trap

Most people asking for advice don’t actually want information. They want certainty. They want someone else to take responsibility for their choice so they have a safety net if things go wrong.

“99% of people know the answer to their question but are too much of a b1tch 2 actually initiate the decision Pay attention to any public forum and you will see only PERMISSION-BASED questions People don’t want information They want CERTAINTY”

Source

This is why the “how do I apply this?” crowd is permanently fucked. They’re waiting for someone to build the spear and hunt the boar for them. But nobody can do your hunting. You have to develop the ability to take incomplete information and contextually apply it to your own life.

You already have the answers. Your intuition has been screaming at you. The problem is you’re too afraid to listen to yourself because listening would require action, and action would require accepting uncertainty.

“Every decision i’ve had to make i knew the answer instantly & doing anything but that thing only re-affirmed the OG choice & made it even louder”

Source

The skill isn’t finding answers. The skill is trusting yourself enough to act on what you already know.

Uncertainty Is Not Your Enemy

Your brain hates uncertainty because it can’t calculate risk. When you don’t know how something will play out, your nervous system interprets it as potential danger and tries to stop you.

“Money directly follows: 1) how much ambiguity/uncertainty you can tolerate 2) how many decisions you can make / decision trees u can get past”

Source

The people making real progress aren’t smarter than you. They’re just better at moving forward without knowing how things will turn out.

“Ironically admitting to yourself that you can’t predict the future & don’t fucking know how anything will play out is how you actually move forward in the world”

Source

The 19-year-old stays stuck for six years trying to map everything perfectly in his head. The 30-year-old multi-millionaire can’t map it out either, but says fuck it and does it anyway.

Most people treat uncertainty like a problem to solve before taking action. The successful treat it as the permanent condition of reality that you operate within.

Speed Over Perfection

One of Elon’s principles that Grant noticed during the Twitter takeover: speed and quick decision-making. Gathers data, makes a guess, implements now. Not later.

“3 Elon principles i’ve noticed watching twitter takeover: 1) SPEED + quick decision making - gathers data, makes guess, implements NOW. Not later.”

Source

Most of your life is wasted in the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it. The solution is simple: cut down your decision times and disallow back-stepped decisions.

“You can run an experiment in your own life where the ONLY two things you focus on for a month are: 1) Cutting down decision times / dis-allowing back-stepped decisions (meaning u get data, then decide. And once decision is made, it is made, & has to be carried out)”

Source

Get data, decide, move. The decision doesn’t have to be perfect. You’ll get more data as you go and can course-correct.

The beginning of any path is always the worst because you’re operating in total darkness. But the only way to get light is to start walking. The path appears as you move.

The Illusion of the First Step

Young people get paralyzed thinking their first choice is some mammoth decision that will determine their entire life. It’s not.

“Not 30+ but the core”error” of youth is sitting stuck in indecision. Analysis paralysis There is no “best or worst option”. It’s all a false binary. U simply choose SOMETHING & start walking forward ASAP. Then the path self-corrects 2 where u should be But u gotta get in”

Source

The first step doesn’t matter. What matters is the decision you make after you choose—to continue because you like it or to cut it because you don’t.

“What u choose actually matters 0%. What is more important is the decision u make after u choose (to continue becsuse you like it or to cut it because you don’t).”

Source

Every successful person Grant has met could not have predicted their success path to a T. They all knew they were going to be successful, but they could never have predicted exactly where they ended up. They simply reacted to the perpetual unfolding of the unknown as it happened in real time.

The goal isn’t to plan the perfect route. The goal is to start moving and let the path reveal itself.

Making Real Decisions vs. Fake Decisions

Most people think they’ve decided when they haven’t. A true decision is energetically different.

“The second you make an absolute decision about something is the second the universe starts enacting it for you God hides the magic of his intelligent design behind a declaration of 100% conviction.”

Source

Real decisions involve burning boats. When you truly decide, you eliminate other options. You commit at a soul level.

“When you truly want it, you’ll get it. Ur kinda worried now that u might not get it but its more of an intellectual worry. Not a soul worry. U haven’t TRULY decided cuz u don’t TRULY want it yet. The moment you truly decide, it will come quicker & more effortlessly than you could ever imagine.”

Source

The problem most people face isn’t that they can’t decide. It’s that they can’t figure out why they won’t let themselves decide. There are internal threads of hesitancy they haven’t cleared out yet.

Your effort needs to be targeted there. If you have an internal block, you have to figure out what’s in the way and what the solution is. Because if you keep limp-wristing shots into the world over and over, you’ll never get anything.

The Framework

When Grant was in sales, a classic objection destroyer was walking prospects through their own decision-making framework:

“Do u think we can help u? ‘yes’. Do u like me / us? ‘yes’. Do u have access to the $$? ‘yes’ ’Well if 3 yes’s lets rock and roll”

Source

But the real framework for your own life is simpler. Stop asking “is this the right decision?” and start asking “what would I do if that person whose opinion I’m worried about was dead?”

“One decision metric I use often is ‘If x person was dead, what would my decision be?’ Easy way to remove social influence from your decision - which may have more weight than you previously thought.”

Source

This eliminates the social pressure that’s secretly controlling your choices.

Most of your indecision isn’t because you don’t know what to do. It’s because you’re afraid of what choosing will cost you socially.

The Uncertainty Window

There’s a specific skill the successful cultivate: a peaceful relationship with the discomfort that comes with uncertainty windows.

“One strange skill that the successful cultivate is a peaceful relationship with the discomfort that comes with ‘uncertainty windows’ They often walk away from what is good to go after what is great.”

Source

When you make a big decision, there’s an in-between phase. You’ve abandoned the cushy and comfortable. You’ve committed to the mission. But you haven’t achieved the result yet. It’s pending.

Most people crumble psychologically in these windows. They start doubting themselves. They think “maybe I did have it pretty good” or “maybe I am insane.”

The successful don’t allow these thoughts to sway their actions. Through repetition, they’ve learned to find peace within the delivery process. Package pending, and they’re smiling.

Once your nervous system is trained to swallow these uncertainty windows, problems that used to feel like a 7 now feel like a 3. Your tolerance goes up. You can spend more time in uncertainty without it breaking you.

Cutting Through the Fog

Your life as a man is perpetual uncertainty forever. You’ve been exiled to a lifetime of directional darkness blessed by God only with the dimly-lit hand-lantern of your intuition.

“ur life as a MAN = perpetual uncertainty forever. U’ve been exiled 2 lifetime of directional darkness blessed by God only w/ dimly-lit hand-lantern of ur intuition. Can stop being a pussy & start walking FORWARD in shitty lighting or can play PRETEND-certainty & remain child 4evr”

Source

You can either stop being a pussy and start walking forward in shitty lighting, or you can play pretend-certainty and remain a child forever.

The beautiful thing is that tapping into your intuition and trusting its knowledge is what allows you to barrel into uncertainty. Things click as you go.

Your intuition will always shout directionality at you. This is the core mechanism that allows you to move forward toward uncertain outcomes without worrying about the specifics.

“Your intuition will always shout directionality at you & this is the core mechanism that allows you to move forward towards uncertain outcomes without worrying about the specifics”

Source

In a space of infinite options and directions, your intuition shows you which way to go and gives you 1-2 steps of clarity. Then it’s up to you to have the courage to walk forward in uncertainty to allow more of the path to unfold as you go.

Trust yourself, start moving, keep your eyes open, and adjust on the fly.

Key Principles

Most people already know their answer—they’re just too afraid to act on it. The core issue is not information scarcity but the inability to move forward without certainty.

Uncertainty is the permanent operating condition, not a problem to solve first. Your capacity to tolerate ambiguity directly determines your income and freedom.

The first step matters less than you think. No choice at ground level is perfectly clean. You choose something, start walking, and the path self-corrects based on real feedback.

True decisions eliminate options. If you’re keeping backup plans alive, you haven’t really decided. Soul-level commitment is what unlocks momentum.

Speed beats perfection. Gather data, make a guess, implement now. Adjust as you go. The gap between knowing and doing is where dreams die.

Social influence is invisible weight. Remove other people’s opinions from your decision-making by asking: “What would I do if they were dead?” This reveals your true preference.

Uncertainty windows are where character is built. The successful learn to peacefully sit in the gap between leaving “good” and achieving “great” without regressing.

Your intuition already knows the direction. The work isn’t figuring out the answer—it’s clearing internal blocks so you can trust yourself enough to act.

Indecision is often a desire problem in disguise. You’re not stuck between two options—you’re avoiding the third option you actually want because it scares you.

The only wrong answer is doing nothing. Both right and wrong decisions give you information. Only inaction wastes time.

Chapter 15

Open chapter

Spirituality

Grant’s relationship with spirituality sits at the foundation of everything he teaches. Not spirituality in the religious sense—though he uses “God” deliberately—but a recognition of intelligent design operating through your intuition, synchronicities, and the precise moments when reality bends to meet your conviction.

God Is the Process, Not the Man in the Sky

Grant didn’t use the term “God” until his business forced him to operate on pure instinct.

“I had never used the term”God” until I was trying to get my businesses off the ground. There were too many strange alignments, synchronicities, backdoor, unforeseen wins (that made no sense in the moment) and intuitions that played out & made sense after the fact that I could never have predicted.”

Source

When he says God, he means the entirety of nature and yourself in perpetual intertwinement. The combination and dance of all external and all internal. The sculpted and the sculptor. The ever-flowing river and the river itself.

“When I use”God” here I am not talking about religion, I am talking about the thing that keeps the universe moving. The source of the river & the river itself. All encompassing nature. Everything that is.”

Source

Your internal world isn’t separate from this force—it’s included. Your interests weren’t chosen by you. Your hunches arrive from beyond your control. The voice that tells you where to go next is God speaking through your design.

The Universe Rewards Massive Balls in Strange Ways

Grant’s experience has been consistent: true desire paired with genuine effort always gets rewarded, but never in the way you predicted.

“The universe / GOD / rewards massive balls in strange fucking ways. He who can burn the good bridge earns the right to walk the amazing one. Shit looks like its going sideways until you just ‘end up’ exactly where you wanted to be.”

Source

He’s clear that everything he’s held with 100% commitment has come to him without fail—but always through weird backdoors and side quests he couldn’t have designed himself.

“Everything i’ve held with 100% commitment that I WILL get has ALWAYS came to me, without fail - but in the weirdest & most unpredictable way possible”

Source

The creative intelligence involved in how the universe delivers leaves you baffled. Random connections. Unexpected explosions that lead to gold. Things clicking in ways too elegant to be random.

This is why worrying about the “how” fucks people up. You’re supposed to know the WHAT and trust the path will reveal itself as you move.

“Worrying about the ‘how’ fucks way too many people up. You have goals. Visions. Dreams. And if you simply don’t stop moving forward - you’ll get there.”

Source

Grant believes intuition is a direct connection to the future of your highest self—able to peek behind the curtain and guide you toward information your 3D self doesn’t have access to.

“I believe intuition is a direct link to the FUTURE of your highest self. Meaning - in a reality with an infinite amount of future realities - I believe your intuition is able to ‘peak behind the curtain’ & guide you in the direction that you need to go”

Source

It essentially renders the vibration of your deepest vision, sources the information required to get there, and feeds it back to you in a soul-contract: If you have the courage to move forward with limited information, I will ensure you get where you need to go.

Because if you have the courage to jump, the universe always catches. That’s the trade. The upside is faith-based—logic can’t serve you here because you don’t have proof of the future.

But once you’ve seen intelligent design play out over and over in your own life, you become unable to deny a power much greater than yourself.

“Once you’ve seen intelligent design play out over & over & over again in your own life you are unable to deny a power much greater than yourself. It is real, and it is in your face.”

Source

The Soul-Level Commitment Unlocks Everything

God—or the universe, or nature—hides the magic of intelligent design behind a declaration of 100% conviction.

“The second you make an absolute decision about something is the second the universe starts enacting it for you. God hides the magic of his intelligent design behind a declaration of 100% conviction.”

Only pure, absolute certainty at your core unlocks it. This is safety by design—imagine if shit manifested that you only 20% wanted. Intrusive thoughts would wreck you.

Very few are courageous enough to make a real decision. To really cut off any other option. A FULL decision. But those who do can’t help but see both the magic of the process and the beauty of its genius design.

“True desire + creative effort/output is ALWAYS rewarded. If genuine effort is expended towards something specific - the ripples in spacetime are always heard & registered. Have faith”

Grant notes that conviction is like the “unlock” for manifestation. A universal key. Once it’s there for real, God manifests. You can’t LARP this—your soul always keeps tabs on the Truth.

Divine Timing and the Spring Cleaning Process

When you’re truly ready to level up, it happens automatically. You start clearing things out and making space.

“When ur ready to level the fuck up in life, it happens automatically. U start clearing things out & making space. This ritual is nature running it’s course through you.”

Source

This isn’t intellectual or conscious action. It’s nature taking the reins and working through you. Your actions in life are largely “packages” of mechanical actions that FOLLOW a spiritual commitment.

You CHOOSE and have CONVICTION in that choice, and shit just gets done, every time. You can look back and rationalize it, but the truth is the divine is what controls the timing. Everyone wants to decide, but can’t, so they literally don’t have control.

“All your previous launches went well, but will this one work?” “I’ve closed deals every day for the last 1.2 years, but will i close one TODAY?” The guy who has what you want doesn’t feel the certainty you think he does, 24/7.”

You control cause, but have to let “effect” be handled by God’s mysterious black box. All you can do is generate the internal state and trust.

Dreams Are God’s Gifts to Your Soul

Grant is direct: the dreams God fused into your soul are worthy of chasing.

“Average normie been brainwashed into believing the DREAMS that GOD fused into their soul aren’t worthy of chasing. It’s not U that placed ur interests / dreams inside of u. GOD DID. GO.”

The perpetual discomfort instilled in your soul can only be temporarily quelled by work that’s aligned with your highest self. There’s simply nothing else that can satisfy the voice except forward movement toward your dreams.

Most people bury it. They suppress the call that’s screaming at them because they’re afraid—afraid of social backlash, afraid of failure, afraid of being seen trying.

But operating from your own genius starts with the simple skillset of developing sight to recognize it. Your internal voice is God himself giving you downloads. You have to give yourself permission to be yourself.

“You already have every answer you’re looking for. You’re just not LISTENING to it. Or You’re REFUSING to make the hard decision Because you’re questioning God’s ability to provide for you”

Manifestation Mechanics

Grant breaks manifestation into three sides: your intention/subconscious, the universe, and your vibrational state.

The universe WANTS you to manifest what you want. It’s actively waiting for you to pull your head out of your ass and rise above your lower-self bullshit. It ALWAYS has your back. It will ALWAYS give you what you TRULY want.

“The universe is INFINITE information. LANGUAGE is the tool used 2 ‘scoop’ information from the ether. A QUESTION funnels the flow of infinite information”

Source

But you have to have ONE clear intention. You literally have to kill the deadwood desires. Once you have one clear desire and hold it in conscious focus long enough for your subconscious to download it, the process begins.

The universe will start showing signs. Synchronicities appear. Strange coincidences happen. This is GOOD—it means the universe is listening and actively preparing your result.

Then comes “the first pop”—when you get a taste of the appearance of what you want, but it’s not actually what you want. This is an extremely good sign. Your actual desire is not far away.

“The FIRST POP is when you get a taste of the APPEARANCE of what you want - but it’s not ACTUALLY what you want. This is an EXTREMELY GOOD SIGN and means your actual desire is not far away”

The Relationship Between You and God

Answering your call is essentially you and God finally shaking hands.

“Your life is now. People have 0 clue how the world works. By the beautifully fucked up irony of the universe… God is snapping his fingers in my face and saying ‘It’s time to wake up from the dream. Move forward’.”

Source

There’s a “flirtation with your own powerlessness” that takes place every time you try to get a result. This zone is precisely where you cultivate your silent relationship with God—the ether from which the things you receive come.

You control the cause but have to trust that effect will be handled by God’s black box. The guy who gets what he wants has thrown himself into uncertainty so many times that he now has self-trust—even if it doesn’t work out, he’ll figure it out.

Grant’s entire orientation is rooted in this: your life RIGHT NOW is a direct route to your dreams if you construct your vision. All resources you need are in front of you if you open your eyes.

“Realize everything you’re looking for can be found WITHIN your life right in front of you. Everything is a path to your dreams if you’re creative / intelligent enough.”

Key Principles

God is intelligent design operating through you. Not a man in the sky, but the perpetual dance of internal and external, the river and its flow.

True conviction unlocks universal support. 100% soul-level commitment is the key that activates God’s assistance. Half-measures get half-results.

Intuition is your direct connection to your highest self. It peaks behind the curtain and guides you with information your conscious mind doesn’t have.

The universe rewards courage with serendipity. You’ll get what you want, but never how you predicted. Random doors open when you commit and move.

Intention must be singular and clear. You can’t manifest with split focus. Kill the deadwood desires and hold one vision until your subconscious downloads it.

Divine timing controls the “when,” not you. You control your actions and inputs. God controls when the fruit appears. Trust the process.

Your dreams were placed in you by God. What you naturally love and are pulled toward is the exact domain you’re designed to flourish in.

Answer the call or suffocate. Ignoring what your soul is screaming at you to do is the ultimate cowardice. The voice never stops until you listen.
